3. Andrew Carrazzo
2. Jordan Russell
1. Jeff Garlett

Special mention to Eddie Betts, Chris Yarran, Heath Scotland, Brock McLean, Andrew Walker and Dennis Armfield.
lol Mclean you put im ahead of Gibbs and Houilhan.

Like this - possibly have Jamo in for Scotland. I'd challenge anyone who has Carrazzo in - you just can't BUTCHER the ball sooooooo much and be in the best players. Further - he almost deserves a week in the 2's. It's just infuriating watching and waiting for the opposition - that you have for all intents and purposes by the balls - to rebound from kicking errors (EDDIE!!!!!) and get back in the game.
Kreuzer one of my favorites but he was one of the worst today with Henderson.Carrazzo had the ball a bit but he did butch the ball a bit.Mclean did ok for his first game back after injury but i reckon he do better then that.

Ill go Judd, Gibbs,Russell..Thought Army was fantastic today ,yes a few yips but really took them on to open up the game.Well done. Well done to coach Ratts whom went in with an unorthodox team to beat the Catters.Over all well done to the team that played cohesively and showed great poise when under pressure, yet applied pressure beautifully to a team that excells under pressure.Well done Blues ,may the likes of big red ,etc take the batton and create a match review?

3. Jamison

Unlucky Scotland, Walker, Betts, Garlett and Yarran. Probably forgot a few as well :thumbsu:

5. Judd - Set up the win. Was instrumental when it mattered and smashed Selwood in the first quarter.

4. Gibbs - Kicking is elite. Ran hard all day whilst still beating his opponent in many 1 on 1's.

3. Russel - Did Steve Johnson play?

2. Walker - Gave the "Spudahawk" a bath! Gave great run an carry...

1. Murphy - Has too much time all the bloody time. Just oozes class and will be an elite midfielder soon (if he isn't already).

Unlucky: Scotland, Houlihan, Armfield, Garlett, Carrazzo, Simpson.

i never usually post about votes for players, but i'm so fu#$%ng happy with the blues, i'll bite one time

5 - gibbs, class, composure and skill, a wonderful combination

4 - russell, tore stevie j an absolute new one

3 - judd... enough said, ok, first half, absolute on-field leadership

2 - armfield, best game for the club if you ask me

1 - our new mosquito fleet on the half forward line, yarran, bloody great goal at start of the 4th amongst many highs, betts, very good and garlett after a slow start, found more confidence and played great in the 2nd half

Walker was in the votes had he not lost a quarter and a half. Jamo and White were great and the terrific small forward trio were collectively BOG but they shared the load so well, I couldn't pick one out over another.

lol Mclean you put im ahead of Gibbs and Houilhan.

You are a worry - knocking Carlton supporters with incorrect info (nearly said fellow Carlton supporters)

5 Judd - got nod over Gibbsy's superb disposal because of where he plays
4 Gibbs
3 Scotland (still any knockers:confused:)
2 JR (but I still don't like him kicking out)
1 Simmo gets the nod narrowly from Army, Jammo, the Blues Brothers, ... because I love the way he throws his flyweight body in

Agree that it's hard to split the team. So, in no particular order:

* Scotland - Juddy buddy who won a lot of hard ball and used it constructively. Brock McLean should watch his tape.
* Russell - He called it. Totally towelled up Johnson and was a composed (despite what others might think) leader in the backline.
* Walker & Armfield - two-pronged half back attack! Their run and defensive pressure breathtaking.
* Gibbs - the third back who nullified attack and provided drive through the centre
* Judd - fluffed it a coupla times in the first quarter, but lifted to usual standard.
* Garlett & Yarran - livewires who hunted down ball-carriers and created scoring opportunities.
* Simpson, Murph, Kreuzer - tireless contributors. Krueze's second efforts and ruckwork were huge.

5. Chris Judd.

Great game. No passengers and young players like Lucas, White, Yarran and Garlett have stepped up and will stay in our 22 for weeks to come.

Go blues! :thumbsu:
