Not flashy, but it’s good when you can grind out a big win in tough conditions against a team with the best player in the AFL right now.

Jacobs despite getting his colours lowered to Fyfe was integral.

Turners pressure was immense.

Thought Mcmillan, Thompson and Taz controller the backline exceptionally well.

An excellent team win!

Oh geez Robbo. Careful. You'll cop it for that
Yeh Ziebull won't know what to do with himself with Jmac having a good game.

As I said he was one who stood up in 2016 when we had all those injuries in the latter half. And today was showing some of that form.

Folks, we’re 6-4 and 5th on the ladder at *basically* the halfway point of the season. A likely win next week against Brisbane at Etihad will mean 7-4 with just half of our fixture left. Finals is well within the realm of possibilities.

Get excited bitchez!

Even better if we keep our focus we have Brisbane x2, Essendon, Gold Coast, Bulldogs x2, Collingwood, Adelaide and St Kilda left to play*

*Also have Sydney, Geelong, West Coast which are challenges

Won't hear any arguments from me.

Jacobs is only spoken about as a tagger. But he is genuinely an elite midfielder now, and is a huge reason for our form this season.
Exactly. Out for nearly a year and first game back in the VFL last year didn't he collect 40?

Underrated and knows how to find the pill.

Only thing that was holding him back when he played there early days was his fitness. He'd run out of steam by half time due to the injuries at port. No issues now.

The small options in the last 5 minutes to put pressure on Freo defenders as they gathered our exit balls was brilliant. Especially when there's JZ as one of them, you don't want to have the ball when he's coming at you.

Take THAT Freos!

What a great win! Goldy gets a goal in his 200th (Yay!!) And everyone gets around him, and I hope that helps carry him forward...
AND - great game from two of the underdogs, Ats and Kanye! How great was Atley in the last Quarter?! Just did not panic, set Benny J up beautifully, sets up Goldy for his goal, gets a goal himself. Super effort.

And Kanye! Would love to know what his tackle count was. My god that kid gives his all. Immense pressure over 4 Quarters, gets himself knocked silly in the 3rd but still tries to play on. Comes back in the 4th like nothing ever happened! And had a goal in there somewhere too! Very proud of him.

Our midfield fisherman are superstars. !! Another beauty of a game from Jed, and I loved how angry Cunners got when his kicks kept getting smothered. I rarely notice emotion from him as he kills opposition players, but he was visibly pissed for a minute there and it was fantastic.

Jarrad - the warhorse - is looking more and more agile all the time! Loved the Jy-esque footwork he did, and thumbs down to you blind umpires for letting Fyfe get away with whacking him across the face like that. How they could not call that is beyond me.

Anyways, excellent win! We're on our way!! Very, very proud. But it's heading for 3 am now, so enough from me.

Except, I LOVE how BBB still does his exact same run up at goal even when he's doing his kick from practically in the square a the very end there. Love BBB so much.

Go Roos!!

Nothing better than beating the Purple Franchise in Perth in front of a bunch of uneducated moronic supporters.

Almost made having to listen to Pavlichs' pathetic one eyed commentary bearable.

Also WTF is the deal with Higgins getting smashed off the ball (specifically that first qtr hit in the back) and no free kicks? Yet Fyfe gets a touch on the shoulder and its a free kick.
