Lyons -408
Shey - 574
Cognilio -398 .
Pendlebury - 431
Heppell - 528

506 . All I am saying is if your Meter gained bad your disposal get will get affected .check those players with 15 disposal or less players Metre gain and compare with those above 20+Could you tell me how many meters Weller had? Thanks.
Some people use statistics like a drunk uses a light post. For support rather than illumination.
Ben Brown ran 15km during last weekend's match, but I reckon nearly half of that was just in the run-ups for his shots at goal.
Is not a lie , check those star inside mid number you either running Infront or you kicking sideway or backward .There are lies, damned lies and statistics

i think you're focusing on the wrong part of my post. I wasn't saying that inside mids will have low metres gained. (though they will on a metres gained per possession basis), I was saying that metres gained tells you pretty much nothing about how valuable a particular player was to the team on a particular day. for example that game a few weeks back where Ah Chee had all the clangers. (was it against Port?) anyway, if i remember correctly they were mostly long kicks that were going awry. so his metres gained would have looked great. effectiveness however... trashInside mid Metre gains last week

You gave me an example with opposition Stats Meter gains that are lower that Ah Chee .i think you're focusing on the wrong part of my post. that sounds like the legendary 'dont kick it backwards' commonly yelled by old men in the grandstands506 . All I am saying is if your Meter gained bad your disposal get will get affected .check those players with 15 disposal or less players Metre gain and compare with those above 20+
You can get your ball in midfield but if your ball is not going forward , that mean you are wasting your disposal .
Look what happen to May kickthat sounds like the legendary 'dont kick it backwards' commonly yelled by old men in the grandstands
What about handballs backward to the spread, would you call that negative? Is not a lie , check those star inside mid number you either running Infront or you kicking sideway or backward .
The problem is GC handball and kicking skill can't hit target so instead of what you said spread become turn over and opposition rebound to your defensive 50 became their Metres gained by foot or hand . That is why hawthorn depend on Issac Smith , Eagles -Gaf, Tiger - Jayden Short and their winger. Every opposition rebound are metre gain , that is why is so crucial to hit target when you attack or coming out of defence. What about handballs backward to the spread, would you call that negative?
I’m talking the handball backwards, - metresThe problem is GC handball and kicking skill can't hit target so instead of what you said spread become turn over and opposition rebound to your defensive 50 became their Metres gained by foot or hand . EG Weller hit target to shoenfield ( Meter gain) , instead of shoenfield kicking to advantage ,he kick sideway to switch , opposition(Eg Ziebell) intercept and kick forward , opposition will gain Metres gain , instead of shoenfield .
Yes is negative if you can't hit target . What is the point of handball backward .no metres gain by handball backwards.I’m talking the handball backwards, - metres
To the spread running forward, the reckless handball forward is one of the worst you can do. Spreading laterally are what the good sides doYes is negative if you can't hit target . What is the point of handball backward .no metres gain by handball backwards.
Can't you use foot , Australia Football league not Australia handball league .why Clarkson prefer footskill over effort , you can kick backward and launch metre gain by kicking forward again . The moment you handball backward opposition small forward like Richmond will wait for you to make mistake and HTB ,but kicking backward and you mark it they cannot step into your zone or cause them 50 m forward .To the spread running forward, the reckless handball forward is one of the worst you can do. Ahh.. ok then? Can't you use foot , Australia Football league not Australia handball league .why Clarkson prefer footskill over effort , you can kick backward and launch metre gain by kicking forward again .
