With the presentation over I’d like to present the third and final member of our leadership group, Noobz0r , who will be deputy vice captain.

That appointment rounds out our leadership group for this series. All three of us have captained WA in the past and have experience of what it takes to achieve the ultimate in State of Origin footy, but more importantly are striving to create an enjoyable environment for each and every one of you.

We will convene for team selections, but obviously where we think it’s reasonable we would love to facilitate requests. The sides will be selected on the basis of a number of variables which will include things like buy in to the series and effort, but will also reflect the standings of the players within the competition as this is obviously a representative series and not your regular week to week competition. We’ll be aiming to strike a balance between fairness and recognising those that have made a wealth of contributions and deserve the reward of headlining our team.
