Anyone heard of Kieran King from East Freo? He's underage but seems likely to go 2nd/3rd round.

Just to clarify, Garlett was taken in the Rookie Draft, as opposed to Kerr in the National Draft.cruize garlett was 173cm and got picked up @ 30 last year. Kerr was picked @ 18 around that height. With the form he's in, if he can keep it up someone will take a chance on him in the draft for sure
Im not sure how you pronounce his name but Wolfenhousen, I didnt get a record. His game caught the eye of Sumich who was also there.
Went to the Swans vs Falcons game last night and found myself sitting next to the Woodies. ( West Coast recruiting team)
Obviously they like alot of recruiters were again gobsmacked by Natinui's ability, just copius amounts of raw talent.
Some of the things he can do for a man his size are just ridiculous.
Looking past the obvious, three other swans were being closely monitored.
Jeff Gartlett.
Chris Yarran

Firstly, Jeff Gartlett is a skinny wingman capable of playing foward when required, Davey like speed and a solid attack on the ball for his size. Does the basics and works hard both ways. If he continues with his early season form he's definitely a chance to get picked up.
Yarran, I was a little dissapointed in his game, had plenty of space and only finished with 2 goals. I might be being a tad harsh but I didnt think he worked hard enough. It was only when he thought he was a chance of snaring a goal that he turned on his afterburners. And speed he has. Everything he did was silk, great skills, clean hands and set up a few. Just needs to do more.
Im a big fan so I could be a little harsh.
Wolfenden - Great runner, good pace, nice skills, very slight, tackled well and has some real aggro about him. It was Sumich who asked about him and then told little woody to keep and eye on him. I liked his game alot. Very quick, good below his knees and handled some close attention well. Could be a smokey for a late round pick or Rookie listing.
Another kid I liked that I had never seen before this weekend was Blight from Swans. Racked up 17 possies and 7 marks and I reckon he was on for 1/2-3/4 of the game in pouring rain. Robbo24, did you get a look at him? Number 17 he was.

Do any of the WAFL matches get shown on TV in Victoria?
Love to see Rich, natanui & Yarran in action
Can someone help clarify something for me? some guy came onto the Tigers board and has said apparently the Tiges can draft Kane Lucas under the father son rule, does anyone know if this is correct? I cant find anyone with that surname that has played more than 100 games for the tiges, has he maybe used his mothers maiden name? personally think this guy might have been taking the pi$$ but thought I would just ask
I cannot believe nobody has chucked the name Walters in there, absoulute freak from swan districts.
Yarran will go alot higher than 3rd round.
Fasolo from east freo similar to greg williams and moves through traffic well with super skills, a little slow though.
I dont know what club could resist somone like swift.
Jetta - Swans
Brennan - East Freo
Baylis - East Freo
Grieson - East Perth
This is my prediction of the top 10 from this early stage, though not even sure if they are all eligible....
1. Naitanui
2. Rich
3. Hartlett
4. Suban
5. Swift
6. Hurley
7. Cornelius
8. DeBoer
9. Trengrove
10. Walters
A few unhappy scouts at Bassendean yesterday. The colts game was highly anticipated between Perth and Swans who are both undefeated. With it being Anzac Day the fixtures had only the colts and league playing on Friday, so the colts was to start at noon instead of 9am.
On Wednesday night both teams decided to play all three grades on Saturday and the colts went back to a 9am start. The only place they announced it was in a small story on the Swan Districts website.
A few scouts actually flew over to watch the game but by the time they arrived the reserves had already started.
Most didn't even bother hanging around to watch Big Nick, Yarran and the rest in the league game.
Does Yarran play mainly onball or forwardline?
Another quality small midfielder who is a match winner like Mcleod wpuld make the world of difference when Judd, Murphy, Gibbs, etc. are quiet. We have plenty of taller midfielders who are good inside players and can win the ball, but we need another Simpson to run and carry the ball down the ground.
Is that Yarran?
The WAFL website, the fixtures from the start of the year and even this weekends budget says the game was to start at noon. They should have done more than just have one sentence on the bottom of an Anzac Day story on the teams website.Really Sico? Surely they would have rung the club?
Cheers.Playing more forward at the moment, but when he does run and carry it's usually quality finish.
I reckon you're more talking about a Garlett. Speedy wingman who's been in pretty good form the last couple of weeks. Sort of like a Alwyn Davey type, in that he will also chase down from behind, but has looked good running at the opposition defence from midfield. Although I'm fairly confident that Yarran can do this as well, but he's tough inside, can win his own ball and likes to be 1 out in the forward space.

will probably start his career in the forward pocket or on the foward flank, then gradually be introduced as a midfielder, much like gary ablett jnr and ben cousins.Does Yarran play mainly onball or forwardline?

That's just the type of player with X factor we need.will probably start his career in the forward pocket or on the foward flank, then gradually be introduced as a midfielder, much like gary ablett jnr and ben cousins.
Good effort when he's 6 months younger than Rich and playing senior footy against men.Naitanui is averaging 12.75 disposals, 21.25 hitouts and 1 goal per game up to round 5 in the WAFL
Rich is averaging 14.6 disposals and 1.4 goals
Yarran is averaging 17 disposals and 3.25 goals
