Jarrod Garlett also making his return to the Beagles. Apparently lost something like 20kg over the off-season to get himself fit again so will be interesting to see how he goes this year.

Former Eagles NGA player Ethan Regan also lining up for East Perth.

Are mixing garlett and pickett? Pickett played for us last season and looked fine.

This is Pickett

Nah Pickett got cut from the Beagles list - that list on the Eagles website is outdated and still from last year.

Garlett played for the Beagles in 2021 but went to play in the country the following year. He’s now back on the list and I remember it being mentioned in an article that he’d lost heaps of weight to get back to playing fitness.

Do you mean Jarrod Cameron?

He went out to play in the country and also lost 20kgs to return to the WAFL.

Would leave 14 AFL-listed players to play in this game, with only Baker, Yeo, Naitanui, Burgiel, JWilliams and Rotham the players unavailable.
Still no information on what Baker's injury is - not even a word of anything in the media (from what I've seen). I get he's not the most well-known or important player but given he's seemingly carried an issue since the start of Feb it'd be nice to have an update on where he's at.

Is there still a cap on how many AFL listed players we are allowed to have? If the injury list stays low we may end up in that predicament.

Also begs the question of what happens to those excess players, Freo can have players in the Peel Reserves but we don't have that luxury.

I think to clear up confusion

Jarrod Cameron = Back to Swan Districts this season after shedding weight
Jarrod Garlett = Back to the Beagles this season after shedding weight
Jarrod Pickett = Last heard playing in the country in 2022

Jared Fogle = Still in prison and experiencing 6 inchers of a different kind now

Not for us as far as I know

We’re a different setup to Peel with more stringent recruitment conditions and obviously without the structure of a standalone football club

I had a look in here and I couldn't find anything about a cap for regular season games. Looks like the cap for finals is 17 AFL-listed players, though there are other criteria players need to meet in order to play finals

Anyone at the game?
Yep.

Scores at QT:
WCE 3.3 21
EP 4.1 25

Goals to Petch, Alec Waterman and one other player - arrived a few minutes late so I didn’t catch who kicked our first goal. WAFL website is also broken for me so can’t find out who it was.

Jamieson competing quite well against Jones, took some nice intercept marks in defence. Petch getting to the right places and looking dangerous.

The GWS boys are training on the adjacent oval.

Jamieson, Hough and Clark all been busy

O’Neill also playing so we’ve held no one over for tomorrow’s game as an emergency

Connection with forwards been a bit of an issue as well as a could ugly turnovers across half back

West held over no?

West held over no?

West is playing

Jamieson has had his ankle restrapped and is testing it on the boundary.

Looks unconvincing in terms of going back on but maybe not overly serious

Shame as he was playing well
