Taking a crack at someone’s qualifications without even checking to see what their actual qualifications are is foolish. A simple google search could have given you the answer on what DPT stands for, but instead you chose to concentrate on his lower qualification. Foolish.

It is cute that you decided to actually use google after the fact though, to try and make yourself look a little smarter. I’ll give you that.

I am with you Apex.........not sure why people are ganging up on BC.

I like the fact he goes against the status quo here.

Haha yep.hey at least the club is consistent.

After diagnosing WHE with an ACL rupture on the strength of TV footage alone I understand that on Monday there will be a conferring ceremony for honorary doctorates to be awarded to Brian Taylor, Jude Bolton and 11 BF posters.

Congratulations and felicitations to all.

So you defend a club staffer by making out the bloke criticizing him only has a PE teacher qualification rather than a phisical therapy doctorate? Lol ok. You said to correct you if you were wrong. I corrected you and now you’re shitty about it. Move on.
Never mentioned a word about or teachers champ. Get your facts straight before coming out in such a self righteous manner

So what do we think happened to WHE? I was convinced it was an ACL but I can't see someone kicking the ball 50m on a ruptured ACL. Is that possible with ligament damage? Or is it just a serious corkie?

My bro who has done two ACL's said the same thing.......I said hyperextention (wishful thinking)

I hope he wasn't sent back on if he has seriously damaged his knee.

Apologies! You accused him of only having an acupuncture degree as his highest qualification. How terrible of me. I’m not sure how I’ll sleep at night now...

So is Hyphens leg now just a hyphen or does it remain complete?

Question for all the internet medical experts please?

With respect once again, and please don’t get angry, but in the academic world it is conventional to list one’s highest qualification last. I believe our northern colleague may well have been adopting that Commonwealth practice.

Did anyone else have their heart in their mouths when Stevo stumbled in a similar fashion to Treloar.
I was like "nooooooooo"
Then "phew"
arseh*le Essendon supporters In the pub cheered.for a hammy they then cheered whe when he was went down they.later cheered Appleby and laughed at his tears. But that said the lesson I learnt from my ban is people who cheer injuries are good people and need to be protected from being called names thats what is carlton female mod was trying to.teach me I think.

I use to.call those.people campaigners but now I know.they are des3rving of protection and are.more enligjten2d then the lama

Wouldn’t get angry at a post like that. You may be right, but I have a feeling he was just too lazy to use google. It’s not like BC just listed his qualifications, he qualified the order, and in what part of the world he obtained them also.

Do you think Treloar will play again this year?

Possibly. Too many factors to consider.

You ask a serious question of someone who is only here to take the piss!!

I wouldn't dream of taking your piss. It's probably the only thing of value in your life.

So from your response I take it (and I could be wrong)we have you as an certificated acupuncturist, questioning the capabilities of an extremely highly qualified physiotherapist

You are wrong. Dry needling was something I performed here before I left to study in the USA.

Do qualifications mean everything? Or are they just a starting point? Is he more or less qualified than every other Physio in Melbourne who has a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy? Is his opinion more or less valued than Gary Nicholls, former Physio at the CFC, an APA titled Sports Physiotherapist who works at the same practice?

Just pulling you up before you embarrass yourself any more.

Thanks Apex, but that could end up a full time job for you.

Only one person being critical here, and from my understanding that doctorate comes from an undergraduate qualification unlike Fookes Masters which comes after an honors degree.

1)All Doctorates eventually arise from an Undergrad degree.
2)A Doctorate is a higher qualification than a Masters, although I make no great claim for having that. It's just the way physical therapy qualifications are structured in the USA.
3)You don't necessarily need an honors qualification to have a Masters, which is true in the above case. Graduates who do honors usually - although not always - proceed into a PhD.

Looking forward to getting Blair back, he’s been missed in the VFL. Just kidding love the wee man.

Aish is good news, the concern is Moore needed a test after playing on the weekend.
Fairly sure the Moore listing is an oversight

Be great to see all of Elliott, Faz, Blair, and Aish run out in the intraclub this weekend.

Yep - hoping to get along to watch if we can find out times etc....before other things get in the way.

I do fear that we have seen the last of Faz in the seniors based on how the club seem to view him at this point. I hope I am wrong.

I'm not as convinced we've seen the last of Fas. It'll come down to form upon his return to VFL but if he can regain the form that saw him selected earlier in the season then he'll pose questions for selectors, particularly come finals as he can be a big game player and a goal kicker. Worst case scenario, he'll be a handy addition to the VFL side for the remaining H&A and finals.

You are wrong. Dry needling was something I performed here before I left to study in the USA, where, thanks to the insipid, mewling weakness of various state boards caving in to political pressure from the Asian lobby, perforating the skin with a needle is limited to licensed acupuncturists or MDs in 7 states, the states where I thought it most likely I would end up living.

I could say you were an egomaniac but you would probably diagnose my opinion as uninformed despite my humble qualifications which, after 40 years in a profession, I am quite proud of obviouly pale as compared to yours

On Talking Footy they had Aisho as 1-2 weeks and Hoss as TBC.
Didn’t see it but presume AFL get their info from Collingwood.
Even with that they got Moore as test but he played VFL. Maybe they mean test for seniors?
Who knows?
