Did Goldsack have Lars? How could he possibly be a chance otherwise?
Libba didn't have LARS did he? And he came back in 18 weeks. But he did have the biomechanical advantage of his ankle joint being located 7.5 inches from the knee joint, which provides greater stability.

No, but he had a quad tendon graft rather than the traditional hamstring graft.

Uneducated opinion...maybe.
However, we really don’t know...just looking through the window from outside.
And there’s a

lot of smoke and shadows behind the windows.

Wouldn't most Collingwood supporters acknowledge issues with the medical system (staff or process or both) over the recent years?

Maybe, but if so, without foundation. We might be frustrated with injuries which makes one want to blame something or someone- but the “issues” are in the eye of the watcher. How can any of us (even professionals) think otherwise without firsthand knowledge?

So you've got specific evidence? Maybe a copy of the review?

Use of a term like "widely acknowledged" in the context of his posting and self proclaimed expertise suggests this is more than just mug punters having a guess. All I want know is by whom and based on what.

I tend to consider the consensus of the people here on this forum as being representative of most supporters. I thought a majority thought there were issues with how we deal with our players.

Either that or we are incredibly unlucky.

So far there seems to be a “consensus” of disagreement with your earlier post.

As someone that has been critical of the high performance group, as distinct from the medical group, one area that has always pleased me is their efforts to rehab ACL’s. Our record of guys re-injuring and their return timeframes is exceptional especially v our record with injuries in controlled environments and assessment of matchday injuries which have been abysmal, IMO.

Ed whatever it is you’re smoking re Fasolo can I have some? He missed most of the pre-season, spent 8 weeks at VFL level, does a syndismosis within 40 minutes of returning to senior level, he looked at least a yard off pace wise in those 40 minutes, misses the next 10 weeks and is at least 10 days from a VFL return. Absolute best case scenario he spends a month at VFL level which gives him an AFL return date of about round 22.

At this stage he’s irrelevant unless the injury stick gives us another whack over the head. Same could be said of Goldsack, but him being in the frame to play at any level is frankly remarkable and one helluva feel good story! Regardless of his future for 2019 and beyond.

I'm not disputing that there are/were posters who thought there were issues within the club but these are very specific claims against specific elements within the club. When someone spruiks their credentials and expertise then makes grandiose generalisations, I think we're entitled to know the basis for them. If its an opinion then I'm fine with that but his posting style suggests otherwise. If there's a ranking system out there then I'd like to know about it.

Treloar mentioned that Fockers (or whatever his name is) had mapped out a six week plan for him. In your expert opinion, what might that involve?

I'm already concerned given that a week or less from surgery he was pictured on the news walking without crutches, so only God knows what the plan is from there. Hope would be my best guess.

Here is something that might give you the information you seek:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5818092/
Paragraphs 4,5 and 6 under "Discussion" should be easily understandable by anyone.

As to the plan, what do you want, specifics?

The proffession is my business, look I like your opinions and consider them informed. I just dont like the way you express yourself maybe tone it down a bit

So you're a Real estate broker? You do realise that isn't a profession, bless you.

Widely acknowledged by whom? Where has this been stated?

Interesting that you have no issue with the line above, i.e Hawthorn's expertise.

I was after some understanding of what you would do as the treating physio. But on second thoughts I think I’ll just wait and see what happens.
