• Terrorists are cowards because they rely upon and use innocent's as shields to try and escape with zero consequences

You simply HAVE to create consequences for terrorists else the terrorism persists and their use of innocent's as pawns will never cease. This is the same reason that an approach developed in hijacked planes and other ways where there were hostages that no demands are ever met for the terrorists because you MUST establish consequences. Innocent lives will die but that is entirely on the terrorists heads it does. Otherwise stop being cowards step away from the innocent's and fight. They won't because all terrorists are cowards and don't care about the people they supposedly represent .

In terms of minorities in Middle Eastern countries I would say Israel probably fares better than pretty much all in terms of treatment of minorities. If you're comparing it to western democracies than obviously yes Israel is miles behind. Remembering that Jews were expelled from much of the Arab world after WW2.
