Only baiters and uber fans had us in that category. Pre season, most on our board had us around 6-10, because we were a middle of the pack side who were a step behind the likes of the swans and the Hawks and so on.
As for your last swipe, I never said we were good. I said it's a bit rich your mates coming onto our board lecturing about how to become a successful rebuild like Melbourne, when you have achieved jack shit to date (i.e. One game above us)
Your fans should cool their jets until you actually know this is more than yet another mirage

LOL, melbourne fans thinking their the bee's knee's after wins over out of form sides in Colllingwood and Richmond, getting lucky against an inaccurate GWS in round 1 mind you and at the MCG, beating both QLD teams and like every other side beating up essen.... oh wait nevermind scratch that last line.
You can spin whatever you want mate, and I'm not a Melbourne supporter saying we are amazing or whatever... I am just a realist.
The truth is Richmond is going no-where fast... and it is looking like we are finally on the up, so wouldn't be chirping if I were you.
Being a lions supporter I have no horse in this race, however I have to say I would rather be in Melbournes shoes, rebuilt well with young players and only topping up what is needed. I think that is a better way to go about it instead of getting players from other clubs. Good players are one thing, but a team that plays years together and grows as a group will always be in a better spot
