It's going to be a tough chase for the Thunder, the Sixers top four bowlers are all amongst the leading wicket takers in the WBBL and all have a good economy rate to boot.

Gardner has been given a leadership role (she is the Sixers VC) this WBBL season and it seems to have worked for her, her batting and bowling have improved greatly compared to past seasons.

Cheatle, Brown, Gardner and Ecclestone all have 11 or more wickets. Three of the WBBL's top 4 bowlers are Sixers and Cheatle is at 7.
Bates, Burns, Gardner and Healy all with 150+ runs and Perry with 146. 4 of the top 11 batters are Sixers.

Took Tyron to finally smack her utter pie trash that’s where we lost it, although Sammy’s bowling just rubbed it in.

I thought the pitch favoured the slower bowlers as the day progressed which is why Perry decided to give Bolton four overs instead of bowling herself and/or the two youngsters. Bolton bowled really well, especially her first two overs, she bowled over the wicket darting them in just outside off stump and Johnson, Haynes and Tryon found it difficult to get her away, especially with the tight offside field. She let it slip a little in her third when Tryon got on top, but then Cheatle and Gardner took the game away from the Thunder and her final over was pretty solid as well.
