We are in the dreamtime....reality is upon us. It could go either way. We are not ordinary. But we are young.
And if u believe all afl coaches that birth certificates go out the door by the end of the year I think results will show we are ordinary across the comp. a bottom four finish by any age or list profile has to class your side as ordinary
I don't expect 7+ wins, but I think we're capable of it. The coach expects, and I quote, "significant improvement" across the board. How would you describe a very young side that improves it's number of wins and ladder position? I've got a feeling we won't be ordinary - we may not be really good, but I think we will win more than 7 games.

So basically we will almost definitely be ordinary this year in your opinion? That's your opinion so have to respect it. I've been on record on here suggesting we will be bottom four.
Any side who finishes in the bottom 4 can only be described as ordinary. I don't care if they improve on wins from the year before - when u compare them to the other 14 sides they are ordinary.
I'd describe gws as ordinary last year - yet they improved against themselves from the year before.
I'm about judging us against the competition - not our efforts from the year before
Neither of these 2 look ready for afl anytime soon IMO. Webb still carries puppy fat and isn't covering the ground that well yet. Gorgeous skills though.Looking forward to see webb and hamliton play in a few weeks
webb lookz set to bring speed to half back and hamliton is a skily forwars/midfielder
hopefully push for senior slection later in the year
I'm astonished by just how good Dale has looked during match simulation.Neither of these 2 look ready for afl anytime soon IMO. Webb still carries puppy fat and isn't covering the ground that well yet. Gorgeous skills though.
Hamilton is still skin and bones. He was in there fighting during the match sim though. Got his hands on it a bit but fluffed a few kicks (including a simple shot for goal).
Both smart kids but a long way off it. The other 3 boys (Dale, Daniel and McLean) look far more ready IMO.

Looked shite Thursday. Average skills (deplorable on his right foot) during the skills sesh and couldn't get near it in the match simulation. How is the rookie Smith going?
Decision making too. Speed, decision making and skill. If he's competent in the contested area, he's going to be a quality afl footvaller.I'm astonished by just how good Dale has looked during match simulation.
He still looks like he'd blow away in a strong breeze, but he holds his own in contested situations, and his disposal is just sublime.

There are a lot of players that were left to fend for themselves and underutilised of late - it was accepted that it would make them more rounded, complete players eventually. Now that they're set on playing a more cohesive style and covering individual weaknesses (eg. Rough being burned by more athletic types) as a team.
Whether that translates to more wins or not, I don't know. I do think it's incredibly simplistic to write us off based on our age profile (not that I'm accusing anyone of that), given the other factors set to influence our results.
(I'd like this as a Doggies theme song)... Allright.
They wrote some cracker catchy pop / rock tracks. Imagine a big crowd singing this.. "WE ARE Young; We Are Free..."I don't know about the rest of the songs lyrics but the chorus is one of my favourites of all time
I think Murph would likeThey wrote some cracker catchy pop / rock tracks. Imagine a big crowd singing this.. "WE ARE Young; We Are Free..."
Strong and easy to sing.
I reckon Murph would like it.
Hey Fronk. re your avatar.... I follow Ricky Gervais on Facebook and he's been posting some top cringy moments from the Office latelyNeither of these 2 look ready for afl anytime soon IMO. Webb still carries puppy fat and isn't covering the ground that well yet. Gorgeous skills though.
