The booing is brilliant as long as we don't target individuals who haven't done anything *during the game* to deserve it (trying to kill one of our players is a good example...dancing, not so much). Having said that, booing Jobe just after he admitted using AOD was totally fine. Also, booing a player that tried to murder one of ours in a previous game is also fine. I'm looking at you Tyrone.

Boo loud, boo long, boo indiscriminantly. It creates amazing atmosphere. Annoying the Vics is just a bonus.

I don't boo but it doesn't annoy me that lots of others do. In the washup it's probably a more effective way of letting the umps know they are crap than my method, which is calling them all sorts of idiot, pretty sure the umps don't hear that.

I am not a booer, I yell a lot, criticism at umps and encouragement to our boys.

The umpire was booed in the Taylor Adams incident because the Eagles fans believes he put his head into Yeo's leg and therefore could have been our free kick.
It was a hard call for the ump. I used to like cahill, in the words of the Qstick NOT ANYMORE

i love love love it.... concur with most of what has been said above.

my brother in law is born and bred in Perth, but supports Hawthorn, him and his other Hawthorn mate reckon West Coast supporters are the only supporters that boo opposition players when they shoot for goals. These people are fricken hilarious, absolute snowflakes that cant deal with the fact that their pissant team is unable to ever draw a crowd with the ability to make any nose audible on tv.

They are also happy to tell you that West Coast supporters know nothing about football, but because they have a Hawthorn hawk tattooed on their leg they have a superior knowledge on all things football
I've noticed this a lot in WA. Even at the grass roots level, kids will get to a certain age and stop barracking for West Coast and switch to say Hawthorn or Essendon, even Sydney because there's this narrative that only no-nothing, chardonnay sipping, bandwagoners support the Eagles.
I have a few of these at work, yet the difference between their knowledge of any team OTHER than their chosen club and that of a gnat is minimal.

To be honest, every side does it. I go to quite a few freo games as my family have loads of memberships o_O, they are worse than us.
I think it's because we pretty much fill our seats most games and it sounds louder because of it..

Yes it harder to hear the Freo crowd booing from the bus station.

was yelling at everything in the last qtr, free kicks that weren't there, etc... good fun also

100% this.

Then I laugh at the muppets who think we're being 100% serious with every boo and that we don't know the rules etc. Which gets them more worked up. A perfect storm.

It's all psychological and it's clearly working given the attention it's getting. The noise we generate is unbelievable.

Boo long and boo loud my friends. I know I will.

The problem with non- eagles or dockers Perth based supporters, is they go to one-two games a year, and it’s all they’ve grown up with. They grow up in a town that’s obviously behind the local teams and they get this self righteous chip on their shoulder. This chip snowball over time.

I am tired of hearing about other than the only time it gets brought up as a discussion point is when we are winning so...in a strange kind of way its good.
You're right on the money there - if we were less successful (like Freo) it wouldnt even be mentioned! Which means they're worried we're on the march again;).
