Bumped We don't play footy to lose - autopsy vs Gold Coast

Since Clarksons return, Bailey Scott has been played out of HB I’d presume 65-70 percent of game time and 30 percent on the wing. Possibly to create more run from behind the ball carrier? Has anyone else noticed Bails playing off HB in recent weeks. He was doing a great job on the wing, but it seems Clarko may want to use his running power off half back

for sure. I've said it all week that Dawson should have played well before now, and Bergman was great. Even Perez was OK, although I'm not sure he'll make it.
Was Bergman off most of the second half? Can't recall seeing him much after half time after a really solid performance first half.

Just a reminder for all the ****s crying about a draft pick. This bloke named Nick Larkey who was pick 73 in his draft just kicked 9 goals today in the best yearly goal tally for a north player since Carey. Draft picks are overrated. Wins… not so much.

A tale of two interpretations neither of whom know the facts.

I have a mate who is a lip reader

He just watched it and said

We are the dumbest football club to ever walk the earth. Seriously, lose 20 in a row and win this one. Watch Harley Reid become a once in generation player. Idiots.

Idiots?

Why would a WA player go to Vic and a Vic player go to WA?

A lot of water to flow on this one

Horne Francis has opened a can of worms

Nice to finish the year on a high....
But fudge me the main headline on seven news....roos get the win but could come at a huge cost... f%$# me it's damed if win or damed if we don't...
I'm f^%## over these media clowns...
When we move up the 🪜 lm not going to be %### gracious about it...
So nice to have a win to end ....bring on trade period.

My lasting memory of this game was straight after the siren, the happiness on Tarryn's face.

Such a stark contrast to earlier this year.
Yeah, I saw this too and it was great to see him interacting so positively with his teammates and the fans.

Seriously all you tank supporters can eat a big bag of dicks. If you can't cheer on a win you're completely head ****ed.

Carn the Roos!
GC were pathetic. We just threw away the number one pick on a token win that meant absolutely nothing. If the players think that was worth a grain of salt the club is in a worse position than we thought.

My five year old just saw the first win she understood. She got it. Now it’s in the blood. Shiny new toys are for kids.
I was at the game with my six year old and it's the first win he's attended since he was eight months old (ironically, also in Hobart). He was going off his nut in the last quarter.

So if GC were pathetic and we lost, what does that say about the group?

Show a bit of positivity. Tanking talk is just fun and games but on GD you support the club to win.

We can hope can't we? Hopefully the blokes who showed what they can do today have big pre seasons and push him out

I can't see him going from captain, to squeezed out of the 22. On his form this year though, he's not best 22.

The difference today was our skills.

Handballs and kicks to advantage all day with the boys running in waves, no wonder Larkey kicked a bag he was getting it on a platter.

If we don’t end up Harley and get Curtin and McKercher instead then I’m cool with that, as they will compliment todays game style perfectly.

Great win boys and to sing the song is what supporting this club is all about, loved it!!
Correct. We were almost line ball in all stats Not much either way. We were much more efficient. That was the difference

Both the win and pick 1 are being overrated. All I know is this win has no meaning when only one side wanted to win. If Reid is a one in a generation player, it will hurt for ever.
