Was that the offer? Dam Sos, good thing he's no longer our list manager. Not that it matters now, but wasn't it Essendon who messed up the arrangements?
you need access to UmpVisionCould someone explain this to me?
Surely Tracs was inside the five? Is there an angle that shows he wasn't?
I think you are right that it was more likely Melbourne’s pressure. It looked to me like we were struggling with composure rather than being lethargic.I worry how it will effect our youngsters though. They need continuity. We looked to have our usual post-bye scratchiness for large parts of this game, particularly in the first half before we settled a little. Though I guess a portion of that scratchiness would have to be attributed to Melbourne's pressure and the fact our boys were likely nervous being in a final and all...
Guess we just have to hope and trust our coaches and conditioning staff will prepare the team perfectly for another break.

We almost gave up Papley, potentially a second rounder to Carlton and our first round pick that netted McDonald for Daniher. All I can say is thank you SOS and Dodoro for saving us from ourselves! Was that the offer? Dam Sos, good thing he's no longer our list manager. That was the rumoured offer. I will always wonder whether we would have actually accepted it. Swans recruiters don't give away much.We almost gave up Papley, potentially a second rounder to Carlton and our first round pick that netted McDonald for Daniher. Awesome night. Ended up spending about half my wage yesterday at the bottle shop a couple of minutes after I finished work because I bought some expensive beers and then the campaigners roped me in with gin testing they were doing. Ended up being entirely worth it. Had a few drinks and cones with the dad and brother.
Maybe it was the intoxicants, but so much of our game last year screamed Premiership team to me. Hadn't really felt that was since 2012, even when we were arguably a more dominant side. Club is building something extremely special.
So much upside - Warner, Buddy, Heeney, Blakey, Gulden, and McInerney have much more to give.
Florent, Stephens, Fox, and Rowbottom played pretty much career best games given the stakes. I'd even say Lloyd did.
Need more time to think about who I'd give MVP votes to - probably Mills, Parker, Hickey, Lloyd, and Rowbottom. Reid and Florent incredibly unlucky. Huge team effort.
Well if he’s still with us I apologise obviously. It was mentioned on Fox coverage earlier this year that he’d passed away so that must have been incorrect information.
The gap between BT’s best and worst is enormous, and he spends most of his time somewhere near his worst.
That was a great call by BT but he spent most of his time blatantly barracking against Sydney and clearly has a chip on his shoulder with our team. Maybe it’s because we blocked him from entering our dressing rooms a few years back?
Yeah, I knowhahahahaha ... i think i found a clue ...
Cones was slang. Actually use a vaporiser these days, and got the old man onto them as well. Bloody good stuff - way more bang for your buck, get to enjoy the taste, and much less harsh on the lungs.as a wise old father, i say: roll your own, lad ... more portable, convenient, sociable ... and no chance of unpleasant spillage
Yeah it's strange how some seem made for leadership roles with their performance and demeanour but never end up in them, like Heeney.
Might also depend on what the personalities in the playing group need from a leader. Rowbottom has some captain tendencies but then he also seems like one of the quieter types so maybe that's not suited to this list loaded with characters. Just guessing really, like you say we have no clue.
Used to call it hash not harsh in my day.Cones was slang. Actually use a vaporiser these days, and got the old man onto them as well. Bloody good stuff - way more bang for your buck, get to enjoy the taste, and much less harsh on the lungs.
Saw the other day you can get 55% strength THC medical hash. Might have to push for that if I can book in another consultation before the Grand Final (if we make it).Used to call it hash not harsh in my day.
Just watched the replay of the 50 May gave away against Franklin. * Papley was loving letting May know all about it. LMAO
How disappointing that of all the potential stories to come out of the Swans' performance last night, this is the one AFL.com decide to focus on.
Went home and watched the replay.Love a good drunk message. Hope you wake up fine and dandy in the morning mate. Take it easy.
May did have 23 disposals and 7 marks. And such shallow analysis. "The Roar" had a much more insightful analysis. An alternative perspective is Buddy took May away from leading spaces for other goal kickers. It's not all about individual stats.
Clarke?Just realised only 3 players of our best 22 (Hickey, P.Mac and Franklin) have played for other clubs
19 we have drafted ourselves
