It would highlight just how plastic and meaningless both the Crows and the SANFL clubs below them are - what with 45000 at Adelaide Oval holding hands to watch their team running around in various feeder league strips and not minding at all.

As someone who remembers what football was like before 1991, the idea of Norwood supporters cheering on the Glenelg guernsey or West Adelaide fans ra-ra-ra'ing for the North guernsey is batshit insane.

But not now, seemingly.

Why can't you make a prison bar jumper with a bit of silver, or teal in it or something and have that as your full time guernsey?

The club tried but Eddie kicked up a fuss. This was along the lines one of the designs they proposed back in 1996.

also I guess the other mostly dark-kitted teams like Essendon, Carlton.. if this prison bars + white shorts is deemed acceptable then why not wear it over the white clash strip? KT did say we like to wear that as little as possible.

the prison bars jumper should be seen as our alternate kit, it's a Port Adelaide jumper, not "the Magpies" jumper.

I'm interested in responses for this question from the 93% of Port Adelaide fans who followed the side in the SANFL or are unaffiliated with the SANFL.

What would be your choice of:

A) Port Adelaide agrees to rename its SANFL squads the Power, cannot merchandise anything as "magpies", but it can wear the PB guernsey in the AFL; or
B) Status quo...with this being the last time we ever wear the PB.
