I may be the only one, but the way the Renault logo dips into the prison bars it really bugs me.

Yeah it is annoying a bit. Could they have the Renault logo by itself and put the PAFC and AFL logo together? Might look better.

Having said that, I will buy one if the club is getting extras made for sale purposes.

THE son of a gun will wear a No. 4 black-and-white ‘prison bar’ jumper as Port Adelaide’s official junior mascot for the run-out in Sunday’s first elimination final.

Tex Wanganeen, 10, will pull on the club's famous guernsey before running onto the Adelaide Oval with Travis Boak and the rest of the Power's line-up on Sunday afternoon.

His father Gavin wore the 'prison bar' jumper at Port Adelaide in the 1990 SANFL Grand Final victory over Glenelg before leaving to join Essendon via the draft the following year.

Port Adelaide has also confirmed it will continue to give the children of former players the chance to be the club's junior mascot for the 2014 AFL Finals Series, as long as the club continues to progress through the major round.

One thing that is going to really bug me is that we will not be able to wear the same jumper as the players. Home game, home jumper. Away game, away jumper. But this is a special run which will not be available for sale to the public and even the other Power PB jumpers were special prints which only a few people would have have in a few circumstances. The closest is to wear a Magpies jumper but that has the Magpies logo on it. Or there is the heritage round jumper but again that is an SANFL jumper.

If someone on ebay is taking pre-orders en masse in all sizes then they'll be available from the club around the same time.

Another place has them pre ordered for mid October.Hot stuff for the sporting buff.

It's just one of those things unfortunately. I'm sure there's been no shortage of sales at the Megastore this week, a prisonbar is a prisonbar is a prisonbar.

Thankfully my members' heritage prisonbar is still in reasonable enough nick.

I doubt it. We've ready said we'll be wearing white shorts to commemorate the last time we won a GF at Adelaide Oval and your away kit comes with white shorts.

Ive officially given up trying to credit the AFL with rational thinking

FWIW its much of a muchness (we normally wear it against you), but the AFL must be grateful we took them over just in case

Yes, we should have ****ed that AFL logo off after the way they have treated us. I would have told them there was not enough time to get their logo on the Guernsey and put the Renault Logo where theirs should be.

Well it's confirmed, we have gone from:

Port in BIB RFC in side panels

To

Port in white RFC in home

To

Port in PB RFC in home

And the RFC official has just confirmed.....

Gotta lev the afl, they seriously have no ****ing idea. As I said previously, I don't mind the clash (in fact I like it), but it cracks me up how much they keep changing their mind on this

How ****ing hard is it to lock it all in at the start of the season?
