I found it interesting that 2 Geelong champs, Paul Couch and Andrew Bews, share(d) the exact same DOB- 19 July 1964.
They were both 2 of the most affable, likeable, friendly, natural players we have had at the club.
Is that a star sign thing?

I'd be pretty happy to get him for less than a first and a second. Sounds like it's aligning that way.

As Wednesday night’s AFL trade deadline draws closer, the Dogs are yet to budge on their demands which is out of reach for the Cats who have offered their first pick (currently No.17) for the out-of-contract midfield star.

The Cats are adamant their offer is reasonable for Smith, 23, who hasn’t played for 12 months because of a knee reconstruction and has made it clear he wants out from Whitten Oval.
