Good deal, adding Karnezis and White (as well as the returning Fasolo) to our forward lineup should make us more dangerous up forward in 2014 and beyond, and take a lot of the focus off Cloke.

Karnezis is no certainty to fit straight into our side, but he has more long term upside than Paine IMO due to his versatility, he could play wing or half back also in time.

Fair trade for all involved.:)

Could he play a Simmlar role to Heater then? Running off the Half-Back Line?

Would like to have at least seen White, Cloke and Paine in the same forward line to see how much it would have failed....or worked.

rumour of a 4th Karnezis thread in the works....

Very happy with this trade. Welcome Karnezis. I have always liked him. I have followed him since his first year and was hoping we will get him when there was talk about it. I think he may surprise a few next year. He almost seems a perfect fit for our forward line. Also, its time we had another Greek player.

Pain, i wish the best of luck. He wanted to stay, so we should not bid him any ill will. I felt that if he was not going to get a game last year it would have been very hard for him. I'm hoping he does well up north. I reckon this trade was best for all parties.
