Not my concern. Never was, never will be. I'm 40 and have worked in the hospitality industry most of my life. There's nothing anyone could say to be that an angry 70 year old woman hasn't already said when her voucher hasn't worked, or when a group of travellers just feeling a little bit fighty at the end of the night.

If someone's not particularly motivated to address it, and maybe prioritising "winning" an argument via logical fallacies, then yeah, vague and general might serve their aims better.

I feel like I addressed it just fine and made my point. I would also say I was more than direct in the context of what I saw as bullying. At this point it is you pushing a narrative to paint me in a negative light and I say have at it. Whatever makes you sleep at night.

I have no disdain for you. How could I? You're just some random internet person, who I don't think I can recall noticing your posts before now.

However, as a fan of logic, I do like to point out the use of logical fallacies when I see them.

For example, when I made the simple observable statement of fact re you indulging in name calling (vs accusations of others bullying you made), instead of directly addressing and owning it, you sought to misdirect the focus, by making unobservable implications on my emotional responses.

I do think it's important to point out these sorts of rhetorical strategies when I see them, so can't promise I won't interact with those sorts of posts when I see them. Your's or whomever's.

in the 2015 trade period we traded our future 2nd for pick 35 from GC (which was actually our own pick from the Bennell trade so really I'd classify it as part of that) which was used to draft Balic

we then got a 2nd round compo pick from collingwood getting mayne which we then used to trade for Brad Hill which then eventually became Serong so we'll take that one

the one that should be more painful was from memory the rumour was he wanted to go home after 2018 and we weren't particularly keen at that point

I believe your logic to be flawed but you are entitled to your opinion. In fact, I encourage you do have your opinions whether I agree with them or not.

I think the link you are trying to make about me "name calling" (although I'm sure worse words than sycophant have been bandied about) to my accusations of bullying (which again, aren't in reference to me but something I noticed regarding the Shai subject in another thread) are insubstantial at best. However, there is no attempt to deflect or misdirect focus. My honest opinion is you haven't liked what I've said, you have taken it somewhat personally and you are hiding behind the idea of being a logical thinker while making subtle barbs.

Importantly, your view is your view, and mine is mine. I am sure most people are sick of us shitting up this thread with what is an off topic, irrelevant argument at this point. If you would like to discuss further I am more than happy to elsewhere.
