Do you think we're significantly worse off without a biomechanics specialist?

Its hard to say we didn't really replace Dave when he left. Mitchell and Foley help the youngens

Looks like the kid can play a bit!

On a side note, it looks like box hill plays a great brand of footy. They seems to transition quickly in numbers of defence and always look to hit up a player leading towards the football....Thats really the first footage ive seen of them so might not be the norm..

Can anyone recall what held him back at the start of the season? IIRC he was a little injured
He went too hard early in pre-season and injured himself had to be pulled back. We gradually increased his load over the pre season until he was able to play at box hill. Injured in the 2nd qtr in his first game at box hill. A couple of weeks. Injured in his 2nd game in the 3qtr a week. Finally getting whole games under his belt at box hill

Thanks for that T4P.

That's an unlucky run, poor bugger.

Great to see him get some minutes now.

depends on tank
he has a footy brain and a few skills and speed though
Yes alternate question was about his tank. Hope he develops one because his BH highlights this week reminded me of B Hill but with a bit more grunt. A winger who can hang out with small forwards and kick a few is a good thing

He was a SA champion schoolboy 800 m runner so he should have speed and endurance.

Yep he looks a natural winger to me too. Had the same thought re Brad Hill but with a physical edge. If he plays well again next game he has got to be in the mix. Maybe not ready for a wing yet in terms of workload stay start as a fwd.

If Box Hill games are cancelled often and the Hawks season the way it’s been, give him a game or two in the ones. Same for a couple of other Hawk listed kids. Give then game time and a taste of AFL level footy.

There is a lot to like about this kid. So competitive and his pace is a real asset.
He takes the game on.

It’s a massive need for us.

100.
I really like the look of the kid, he's quick compact and has good vision downfield.
Add another 4kg of muscle on him and he's a pretty explosive unit who can impose himself into a contest as well as being that running option.
He definitely looks a likely type.
