Barrass to CHF?
He’ll probably deal with it the same way all the other guys 25+ have. Bemused but accepting as long as everyone remains focused on the prize.I wonder how a deep, thoughtful bloke like that's going to go in the happy-go-lucky, celebratory 'hokball' culture like ours?
Of course, it take many different types of player and personality to make a premiership side....
I was about to post the same thing!ELITE ARTICULATION
He speaks so well.
Hair apparentLooks like a fully grown man version of Will McCabe
Could easily be describing Sam MitchellI wonder how a deep, thoughtful bloke like that's going to go in the happy-go-lucky, celebratory 'hokball' culture like ours?

Fair Comment. I do not know if it is true but if Barrass is a good communicator who could become a coach, then the Hawks will be improved with him in our backline.Said it before and will again, his articulation is unmatched, super smart person generally but even as much so with his football. Will definitely go into coaching I feel, and can learn from one of the best in Sam Mitchell.
Exactly. Hokball is a bit of a media construct anyway. Sure there's a real sense of fun and we've built a very entertaining brand of footy - which one senses all the players, including the older ones, are energised by - but it's noticeable how hard the team works during games and at training. Everyone seems to be on the same page as far as the really essential stuff goes about where we're headed and how to get there. He’ll probably deal with it the same way all the other guys 25+ have. We have our share of deep, thoughtful types - Ward, Mackenzie and Nash come to mind but there are bound to be others Impey and Amon perhaps. Nothing wrong with a mix of extroverts and quieter souls.I wonder how a deep, thoughtful bloke like that's going to go in the happy-go-lucky, celebratory 'hokball' culture like ours?

If he comes in and plays somewhere near his peak, he can let his hair grow down to his arse and dye it bright pink for all I care.Needs a haircut ASAP
So you agree with my latter sentence? We have our share of deep, thoughtful types - Ward, Mackenzie and Nash come to mind but there are bound to be others Impey and Amon perhaps. Nothing wrong with a mix of extroverts and quieter souls.

I do - it was your first sentence that I was responding to as it rather suggested he might struggle to find kindred spirits. So you agree with my latter sentence?
