quite similar players IMO.
not sure how he slipped to 18 in the draft, I guess its the usual father-son slide.
looks every bit a top 10 draft pick to me.

Great to see him out there, but the over-the-top optimism reminds me of the pre-game thread for the Cats match. Did a couple of good things, but also a few clangers/turnovers, some running into teammates, etc. Still some way off a debut, but some good green shoots.

What's a "motivational trinket" and where can I get some?

Just play him at Box Hill until he can play 4 full quarters, get in the best players a couple of times and actually earn his AFL debut.

What's wrong with that?

If that's before the end of the year - so be it.

If it's some time in 2025, no big deal.
