Pretty well every single kick to him tonight was to his disadvantage. Over his head when he was in front, fell short when he was over the back, wrong side etc.

Need to work out if thats because he was woefully out of position or because our kicking to him was horrendous. I'm thinking its option B at the moment.

It was both, Macca. The kicks were awful hacks that only advantaged defenders and Jack hardly ever had separation from his (and sometimes, Mitch’s) opponent.

If were me I would have try swapping him down back and put Finlayson forward to try and stop the hemorrhaging.
Most of his stats were defensive side of the wing. What does that tell you….Hinkley.

I was just about to post that Luko reminds me of Finlayson with his lacklustre maybe-I'll-run-maybe-I-won't kind of demeanour.

We've got a few too many of those kinda players, really didn't need another one. Can't see him significantly boosting our forward output or talk presence down there.

This is a big exaggeration - there's a lot of academy and father-sons available in this draft, but it's not like the top 10 is going to be made up with 90% of them.

At this stage, Zeke Uwland is the only certainty to be a top 10 pick from the academy and father-son players.

Easy to pick the hard players from an early age.
