Yze is an inept senior coach who has accepted mediocrity. I couldn't give a shit about what happens in 2 or 3 years, he has enough to work with to be better than this. We're not even a shell of our former selves.

Unfortunately many can’t see this, that’s because they don’t want to. Negative comments towards Yze are pathetic and getting sick of it. Even the best coach in the land wouldn’t have us much higher up on the ladder.

Pure stupidity in this thread. It's like Yze has top 8 side lool were a bottom 4 club and get ready for more pain. If our football department and board don't get there act together this off-season it will get worse. I have said it a number of times look above Yze also football department and the board they need accountability and previous regime. Alot of problems have been there before Yze arrived people got blinkers on. For me the club has left him to the wolves at times lack of support. We haven't had a first round pick for 2 seasons lool our first pick was pick in the forties last year. Add to that we got a senior core checked out bluggering out there. Our rejuvenation should have started 3 years ago.

Good call, and not only do the injuries effect the on field but the lack of continuity in training together and gaining chemistry on the track significantly impacts production in game. Sh!te year but It’s a good opportunity to cull the deadwood both players and staff/coaches (who are now glaringingly evident), reload with some fresh elite talent and crack in to a preseason where whilst still probably being bottom 3 next year there is meaningful development and a bit of light to look forward to. Then we’ll know if he can coach.

Agree we need to be patient.
Catastrophic injury toll made us uncompetitive after only a few rounds.
Looking at top team Swans today . A couple of injuries and they immediately look ordinary.
But my concern is there seems to be no evidence of a game plan and if there is a game plan , players seem to have no capacity to execute it.
For me there were really good signs in the win against the Swans. But for some reason that direct style of play was thrown out and we then started kicking down the flanks only to be outmarked every time.
New assistant coaches , new fitness people, new players and some serious work developing a game plan and hopefully some progress next year. But it is going to be long and painful.
One thing that won’t be tolerated by supporters will be a continuation of the boring footy we have been playing this year.
People will vote with their feet . Supporters will stay with the coach who has team playing an exciting brand .
But things will get very ugly for Yze if we see more of the same next year.

Its the way we're playing footy though, we're trash absolutely everywhere, he's supposed to be a tactical genius. Continuity, injuries sure, why has he not been able to stop teams week in week out from moving the ball with ease from defence to attack in seconds. Something stinks with his game plan, he'll be tested in just a few weeks against hawthorn who split us in two everywhere, we'll see if he's learnt anything.

I hate Kane cornes but he's 100%right, he's seemingly a cheer leader. He was on a hiding to nothing with the old guys but I'd love to see him get angry and give a spray to the team to show them who the ****s in charge

Nope we were bottom six material at best. Too slow dude and especially in the guts. You’re overrating our list like Dimma did and that’s when our problems seriously started as we gave away our early picks rather than opting to rebuild. Dimma quickly realised this and departed for a cushy well paid job with new toys.

I'm all for keeping Yze on but of the above, Grimes and Graham were finished 12 months ago, Martin is a shell of his former self, Ross is just best 22 and Prestia, Pickett and Lynch are pretty much finished.

Question marks over Hopper (has played less than 50% of games in the past 3 years) and Gibcus looks ok but it's just too early.

Not suggesting that if they were all playing we'd be fighting for a top 4 spot. But having some of them, if not all, out there would likely mean that we'd at least be playing a much more consistent brand of footy.

The thing that bothers me on here when people criticise YZe especially during game day is they mention his ethnicity. I think it’s racist and has nothing to with his performance in his job. I can’t believe it’s been allowed to go on as imagine if he was indigenous people would be banned, yet it’s the same thing.
