We might have brought him in with an eye on easing the inside midfielder role transition from Libba to Sanders in a year or two.

As much as we love Libba & he defies logic at times, he’s genuinely one incident away from it being all over.

Blues midfield isn’t exactly durable, brave to move him on when Cerra/Hewett are made of glass, Walsh has no back and Cripps still carrying them.
Not to mention the rest of the midfield are all just as one paced, yet they’re saying they needed to move Kennedy on to solve that but who are they bringing in to make it quicker?

Also, they gave up this year's first and next year's 1st & 2nd to move up to 3 this year, so they have 1 realistic shot at a high quality mid in the next 2 drafts.

Depth could take a big hit in the year or 2.

I know getting older slows you down, I know we have been told he is on the slower side but when he was drafted, he ran a 3.13 second 20m sprint.
That's definitely not lighting, but it's okay.

Their recent drafts have already been nothing special, no real youth at all coming through.

They are betting on the Campo twins being great players, but both are going to be late picks so that is unlikely. Their list strategy has been bizarre to say the least.
