Is it too early to start considering putting The Bont out to Stud? 100 game minimum of course, but the quicker we get Baby Bonts flowing through the door the better. The scan the country/world for the most genetically perfect specimens to compliment The Bonts perfect genetic structure.

2036 Western Bulldogs Lineup

A Bont. T Bont. W Bont.
M Bont. S Bont. R Bont.
G Bont. N Bont. P Bont.
Y Bont. M Bont jr L Bont.
F Bont. H Bont. V Bont.

T Bont. W Bont. H Bont. J Bont
That lineup is just plain crazy
Everyone knows that M Bont jr is much better suited to the midfield as he is the short one at 6 foot 4.
I'll assume it was a typo.

Serious question. Whilst watching the replay of Saturdays game again, did anyone else think that Bonts was wearing mascara??
Not that I care. He can come out dressed like David Bowie if he's going to play like that.

Haha I noticed that too. I'm assuming it was a black eye, shiner from training or something

Jake Stringer also just had a baby girl, so if we can start pumping out some bonti boys we can set up some arranged marriages and have babies pumping out for generations to come.

Would have thought Jongy would have been a more apt name given the mare!

There was a couple of Doggy horses getting around a few years ago, Minson was a pretty good galloper, won his first 5 starts or so including a group race at the Valley. I know there was at least one other one but can't remember??? Wonder if the ownership is the same?

I see what you mean - yes Jongy is more apt

No 3 should have been named Bontempelli

this horse better be able to gallop

Bontempelli just ran 2nd at Albion Park dogs, started around 2nd fav.
Slow out then came home hard, think it was it's first start. One to watch.

*Edit: Sorry that was his 4th start.

There was a trotting horse called Chris Grant going round a few years ago.

I was at the Whitten Oval watching an away match on TV once and nipped into the TAB at halftime.

Chris Grant saluted paying $80 for the win.

I'd love to tell you I backed it and won a princely sum.....but I didn't.

Won a few $$$$ backing Minson however, as did others

I won a bit on a couple of Bulldogs related horses once. One was called Cooney's Medal, another was a horse named Wallis I backed for a place. It led all the way but ended up second
