Don’t know if it’s the game plan, subpar players or both, but I’ve seen more than enough the past 3 years of the Beagles and Eagles routinely getting outpossessed by 100-150 disposals in matches. I can’t think of any sides that are competitive while frequently giving up such large disparities in the disposal count. At some point you have to be able to get your hands on the ball.

Plenty of AFL squad players playing but still the same dismal result.

Sparks (non listed player) was about the best again.

Not a good development situation for the players who don’t get in the AFL team.
