Agreed, not sure how Laurie ended up there as I thought she was pretty ineffective for most games this year.

Either, they jumped the gun, and she has expressed an interest, but still has an Eagles contract, or, the tweet is more up to date than the website.

Swanny is obvious, but the fact Dana got runner up after such an average year speaks volumes about the rest.
Then you see who else is in the top 5 and it's a real had scratcher. Schmidt missing out is a joke. Gooch deserves it at least. She was solid.

I agree, Hooker was okay in her injury comeback but runner up Best and Fairest? Maybe a reflection of the season we had.
Laurie coming in 3rd is a big surprise, I don't think she was in our Top 10.
Also surprised that Hill finished above Smithy. In general Belinda always seems to be underappreciated in the BnF voting.
Selecting 5th is a real mission for me.

Lewis was frustratingly bad and didn't remotely back up her promising first year. Likewise Bowen. Likewise Collier. Likewise Smith. It goes on and on.
So many players went backwards. I'd almost be tempted to give 5th to Charlie Thomas. And she started slow as well, but built into the season.

I wish her all the best, but I cant help feeling that her departure is a real blow.
Can’t afford to lose quality players so her departure is just another step backwards.

Totally a blow, considering the amount of sub standard players we SHOULD be getting off our list.
Losing Collier, who despite having a down year, is one of our top 8 players normally.
And for nothing? Is there a trade? Compensation? Or because it's a new team are they allowed to poach a few?
