Tough calls at the selection table - almost all variants would have been justified - but height in the back line will be important so I am content in my constant state of desperate nervousness as game day approaches

Depth and difficult selections are a good sign - imagine how much more difficult it could have been if you had to add Murph, Wally, Big Red and Cramers into that mix

Painful for selectors - no bad thing for us supporters

Enjoy the parade boys and girls. I'll be on the plane to Melbourne as it unfolds

Howdy,

Hope you don't mind the intrusion? Once the jealousy wore off I must admit I'm delighted you made the big dance. As a fellow supporter of a club that isn't always considered part of the AFL's grand plans for world domination Saturday is OUR time....... big picture view.
Enjoy the day suck it in, dare to dream big. I'll be cheering for you all the way. The battler Vs the AFL.

If the AFL organised a 100 meter sprint Bullies V Sydney they'd get a fifty metre head start. I know you're proud of your boys but I'd like to add so is the wider football community.

Godspeed peeps.

Guys, a good mate of mine has 2 fully paid tickets to the AFL grand final in a private box with all food & refreshments provided.
Sadly, he didn't realize when he bought them that it was the same day as his wedding so he can't go.
If your interested & want to go instead of him, it's at 2pm at St.Pauls Catholic Church, coburg & her name is Julie.....

Best of luck to the doggies!

In last week's gameday i mentioned that i was hoping for a Bulldogs win because a long term colleague Mad Dog was retiring and he his an absolute fanatic Bulldogs supporter and has been a member all his life.

Well today was his last official day and at 8 this morning, he came up to me and advised me that he was going to pop out out for a bit and said he'd be back at 1. I replied thats a big pop out to which he replied I'm going for a coffee and then heading off to Whitten Oval to watch the boys train.

After work we caught up for a few beers and he couldn't believe that he was going to the Grand Final to watch his dogs. He's flown to Perth, went to the G then flew to Spotless and now in his first days of retirement he gets to see his boys in the granny. He is very confident, has been all finals.

Now this is how you see in retirement.

Come on Dogs just one more, do it for Mad Dog.

There's a select few Sydney supporters that are immeasurably stupid. They're upset that the media is making this about us.

They seem to forget that the AFL blows their load all over NSW football from rounds 1-23.
