Dougies, jaw was broken a few weeks a go, and was wired up and thought it was damaged but apparently all is ok and he will play this week.
Maybe Danny Ocean can fill us in.

No not dragged, obviously he got a knock or what ever to the jaw. Went to hospital as precautionary and all was ok......Apparently

Heard Disco broke his jaw too and Jensen suffered a bad concussion 3rd this year any truth????
Disco will play but im told, tough boy Clolan, hoppers wounded but need to be wary of a wounded bull they say.
Thought Taylor backing into Molan in the Spottys forward 50 twice in the last quarter had a big say in the end result. Very important players for Hoppers Taylor and Clolan.

I think the club's in the best position to determine whether she is an embarrassment or not. If her language is your only complaint then she is doing a damn sight better than the muppets who want to fight in the crowd. Not good form having a crack at her in the way that you have though.

footy is very passionate game some people can be very vocal and support there team.. i was sitting near the so called fat bird and her language was not that bad.. anyway maybe you should worry about the ******** from hoppers in the nike jacket who wanted to have a go at everyone even the spotty players as they came off at 1/2 time!!!!!! oh by the way he was a fatso also... people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones you w***er...

Apart from possible investigation, last week has gone lads. Possible match ups for this week? Does Taylor go to Rock? Does Clonan try and run with D.jacobs? Does Dorward go head to head with O'Keefe? Do Albion try to isolate Richards on the outer wing?

I couldn't and wouldn't say who or what was responsible for Jensen having a rest on the fence. It could have been a seagull for all I care. The selective vision is on the part of the person who brought the other incident to the attention of the investigators. They have conveniently failed to see and report other incidents or have simply viewed them as part of the game. So no, you don't have it but someone does.

What happens when somebody gets reported for striking say, then it turns into a brawl? Does everybody who throws a punch get reported or just the guy who throws the 1st 1? Just a question.

As for the fight, there wasnt too much in it really just plenty of pushing and shoving. There were a few punches thrown but I dont think cops need to be involved.There was more in our fight with Albion late in the year. It was a very physical game of footy and was great to be involved in. There was some dirty stuff going on but we are all bias and say the opposition team were the instigators so its pointless me giving my thoughts.

As for Ray, I didnt see what made him go over to Dougie so I wont comment on that. Nobody has an issue with him flying the flag but what he did was very ordinary and Im sure that knowing Ray, if he had his time again he would do things differently. He is better than that and as the captain during finals footy he has to set a better example. Having your captain suspended (if thats what happens) isnt good enough when you are aiming to win a flag.

How are things at Colts? Any injuries you'd like to pass on? Any surprise match ups your going to go with on Saturday?

You seem more than happy to pass comment on everybody elses affairs but very rarely comment on your own. How about you say something of substance about your club, then you can reasonably expect others to do the same about theirs.

Correct Filo. If Jensen does end up charged then Dougie may also have to answer some questions. As for the other incident, i hope you don't mean that the selective vision is on my behalf. Because it happened right infront of me and i don't support either club. Would love all clubs in finals to be at full strength so that you get cracking games.

All, at the end of the day it doesn't matter who is to blame, what does matter is that what happened should never had happened. If there is an investigation, all will be revealed and those responsible dealt with.

I am not a supporter of what the WRFL exec has done this year, but I can see that this is a part of an on going process to clean up its act in regards to on / off field violence, the step towards light beer during finals and additional security is one way they obviously thought they could help. We have all seen what happened last weekend in the NFL, I am sure no-one wants to see that in our league. Sure they could allow full strength beer and mixers and put on extra security and police, but who will foot the bill. It's easy to say the WRFL, that will mean at the end of the day the clubs pay anyway.

We, the members of this league (players, officials, supporters) should be doing all we can to stamp this out and help move the WRFL back to where it should / could be. Everyone is quick to blame others, but unless we all pull our heads out the sand stop finger pointing and stand together things will not improve.

Colt's are travelling fine thank you,it's already been said on here we have a full list to choose from,team selection no doubt will play a big part,Hoppers have proven themselves to be a worthy contender and after two close games this season,we are under no illusion how tough this week will be,injuries or not Hoppers will give a good contest.

That's one of the reasons I believe why the new Senior Club in Point Cook is going to the Ammo's

If that is the case good luck to them. Might attract more people/players who want to play and be involved in a cleaner comp.

Surely you arenjoking, i'm always happy to say weather we have injuries or not, even match ups. Once the game starts it has absolutely no bearing on the game.
So apart from any mishaps at training we have a full list available to choose from, tedescoe has missed last few weeks with a back injury so he is up against it to be selected.

Hypocrite? When did I ask Jensen to snipe someone half his size? Sticking up for mates is something I am for, however cheap shots are something I am clearly against. Jensen showed his true colors on Saturday and something the competition should stamp out and yes after seeing the incident on the weekend I can confidently say he is a COWARD

All the Verbal banter and tough on field stuff still happens in the Ammos. Its just that the verbal doesnt turn to blues and indescrections off the field as often (or at all) at the Ammos, as supporters do not have a skin full.

With the city the way it is at the moment, and all the violence at Local sport, Alcohol is the common denominator. (obviously there can be other factors too)

Our society has a problem with alcohol. unfortunatley, there are too many ferals who cant go to the football and not get pissed without carrying on like a pork chop.

Maybe clubs serving alcohol, should be hiring security with the rights to eject people from games if they are causing trouble???

Or is it that Light Beer will be the way of the future??

If the light Beer finals go off without a hitch, then it may just become a more permanent fixture.......

Obviously you didn't hear about the brawl after and Old Essendon Grammar game where the coach got suspended for the rest of the season and two players (not actually playing on the day) copped 6 weeks each for off field punch ups?? Great comp the Ammos!!

I suppose published teams don't have a bearing on the result...not when the fists can come out on Saturday afternoon in the WRFL, now they have a real bearing on the result
