Albion to flog Hoppers in the twos...........
Colts to win the A1 seniors!

Stevens to get BOG.............and give Big Ray a whack after the game!!!!:p

Too bad if the superior forward line is hampered by a non thinking midfield who fails to adapt well to the conditions. IMO the conditions will call for a smarter midfield.

Like spotty's midfield a few weeks ago in the loss against hoppers???

Our midfield is a very smart midfield and probably more skilled than spotty's...i believe anyway.
I feel the conditions will mahe it alot more of a physical contest all over the ground, an area we shouild have a clear advantage over spotty's young runners.....we will find out tomorrow at about 4.45pm.

Rock, are you assuming that I was saying that Spotty's midfield is smarter than yours. Wasn't saying anything of the sort. If I thought it, I would say it. Whoever plays the smartest midfield footy on the day will win.
I just don't agree that you have to break even in the guts to win. There's no surer way to level the playing field when it comes to forward lines than crappy wind conditions. So there is more heat on the midfield then.

It will be a cracker and I don't agree, smartest midfield wins the day, simple as that.
\\
yourve lost beazers point filo, all he is saying is if the midfield breaks even he beleives colts will win, and it the players outside the centre perimeter who will win it for them

COLTS V SPOTTY-The side who can not only win the footy the most but use it the best will win and imo that will be the colts and with a more potent fwd line will get them over the line D JACOCOBS BOG will be unstoppable colts by 41 pts

SPOTTY V ALBION-The cats will be primed after winning last week they have been the best side all year its just a matter of putting there best foot fwd pearce to kick 5 and kelm BOG the cats by 29 pts

I wonder what hoppers 2's will be doing if spotty are playing albion? Maybe your just still confused Gangbang, Albion or Parkside? I guess it's albion this week because theyre still going.

Clarke and Sevens out as they are too old and slow, the younger players would step up to the challange.

Spotty shold be unchanged.

Good call in hindsight - saw the first half today and colts had a few too old/too slow. Spotty ran them off their legs in first quarter. Clarke 1 possession to half time and was completely ineffective. Same for who i think stevens is - assuming the guy the call Elton?
Thought colts might get over the top of them though with a big wind advantage in the last quarter. Maybe those saying spotty were fitter were right??
Wasn't a great game from what I saw - wind may be to blame but the game also seemed to lack atmosphere. Colts wouldn't be happy with massis - head butt and off for 15 minutes with teammate lining up for a goal.
Well done spotty

Congrats To Spotty awesome effort to win 3 In a Row and was a hard fought contest in trying conditions.

Kudos to Colts to on a good year and i am sure they will up there again next year.

Two blokes got sent off, first one was Massis and the second probably Davies. Wasn't a great game of footy (compared to last years) and the conditions weren't great. Spotty were the better side on the day.

Nah Choof, I knew what Beazer's point was but still disagreed. I was thinking that breaking even would not be enough. One midfield would have to win it above the shoulders to win the game for their team.
I won't comment on what I think happened in today's game but I will congratulate Spotty on the win and Colts on a very good season. I follow Spotty but enjoy watching Colts play a very good brand of footy. Both clubs are a credit to our league.

On another note, have you signed Zurek for next year?

Just left the Spotty celebrations (subdued).

Well, well, well (no coincidence that there was three wells). The underdogs get up again for the third year in a row. Choking comes to mind but Greg Norman will not be mentioned in this post.

Bad night at selection for Colts with Stevens ( love child of Elton John and Cat Stevens) gets a game in front of a kid like Nathan (c u lata Colts) Jackal.

The Coach, who arguably had a possession in the first half, is more concerned with the Bench Staff of Spotty at half time rather than his team who are only 2 points down.

Colts rotations are more determined by send offs rather than player welfare and thoughts of the last quarter in 30 degrees. Spotty rotate regularly and employ Sports Science in terms of Ice Vests in what at 5pm (half way through a vital last quarter) was still 30 degree heat.

Rock07, whoever he is, questioned the selection of Bond and Patak. Patak (past Herb Pascall Medalist against Colts) played well incuding 1 goal 3 in the third quarter and Bond was more than serviceable in working with Puhar and McGhie in rendering Julier/Hoath and the occassinal Jacobs inefective. PS. Was it the Rock07 maligned Ayton who actually rendered Rock07 useless ??

Ok to get on here and talk the talk but there is a need to also Walk the Walk come game day!!

Where to now for Colts? A three peat of losses. Swing the axe, a sensible re assessment, a new Coach, who knows? A proud Club like Colts will not stand for regular failure on that last Saturday of the season.

Anyway, a few days to settle down prior to 2010 planning. Is a Spotty Quaddy out of the question ? I am sure there are 9 other Clubs thinking NO !!

Considered respones are more than welcome.
