im not saying they won't, im just saying don't get your hopes up too high.

Carlton have as much chance of making the finals as Hawthorn do of back-to-back flags. Funny how everyone jumps down the Carlton guys throat.

Saying Geelong choked is like admitting Hawthorn were lucky.

Nice :thumbsu:

For me it would be seeing if our lesser known young guys can take the next step. Guys like Browne, Austin, Bower, Anderson, Grigg, and Hampson who've all shown a bit. I'm excited to see how much our list has developed.

Hang on.....so if you finish last this year do you get pick 1 or 4?

If Melbourne finish last this year on less than 5 wins (and West Coast get 5 or more wins), Melbourne would get picks 1 & 2.

If they come last with 5 or more wins they will just get pick 1.

2009 is shaping up to be a MASSIVE YEAR!

Richmond/Cousins?

Can Carlton make the 8 after all their yappin?

Will Geelong have the balls to bounce back?

Can the saints take the next step?

Who will make the 8? Who Will Fail?

What coaches will be sacked?

What players will get into drunken or drugged behaviour landing them into massive trouble?? It always happens. Someone will screw up.

Will fremantle finish above melbourne or at 15th?

Can StKilda continue record breaking dominance over carlton and to a lesser extent Richmond?

What 2008 draft picks will stand up? Best group in years very exciting!!

Gold Coast developments, west Sydney developments!!??

Footy to start as others have said.

At Essendon, all i care about is seeing Gumbleton and Dempsey put in a solid season. If them two go allright and stay in the team, i think we will go allright as well. Fingers crossed they deserve to play those two. If we make the finals then its a bonus.

Footy!!!

Watching Brownlow Medalist Cooney get even better along with the best of our midfield in action.
Praying that Tommygun Williams finally gets on the park without injury.
Watching the debut of Roughead and a couple of our young guns.
Watching the improvement in Harbrow and Hill and Skiny Everitt getting a full pre-season in
Looking forward to finals and taking another step this time.

Plenty of things about my own team obviously.

But I will also be watching Judd with great interest, hoping he gets back to his best. If all goes well, we can look forward to him reminding us why he is better than Hodge.

Scarlett getting his 5th AA.
Ablett getting a 3rd consecutive MVP, & 1st Brownlow.
Geelong Flogging Hawthorn all year, and in the Granny if we should meet.
Tom Hawkins taking the next step up.

Cousins comeback. :thumbsu:
Sydney & Adelaide dropping out of the eight.
Prismall showing his stuff in the Essendon midfield.
Hopefully Davenport breaks into Port's best 22.
Robert Walls off the couch.
Dreamteam & Supercoach.

I'm anxious to see how Cousins does at Richmond, and how long he'll last there. I hope he's finally cleaned up his act and takes advantage of this perhaps final opportunity.
Other than that, I'm just eager for the season to start.

Fremantle Football Club in general

Hope Tarrant,Hasleby,Headland and Solomon have good years.

And the youth progressing:thumbsu:

Watching our youngesters develop and having the rest of the footy world realise we have a talented bunch on the rise.

Plus people starting to rave about how classy Mackay is!
