Good news is we pulled out a miracle win. For that the boys deserve a lot of credit. The first half was sensational.

However that finish and the total collapse of our game plan has to once again be alarming. We can't as a club keep watching that sorta s**t and just gloss over it. It just wasn't good enough. The defensive efforts were piss poor, the ability to soak up the rising heat in the contest was poor, and the complete collapse of our ball movement when the pressure rose was just terrible.

Lol you know they'll gloss over it. The talk will be all about how it was an amazing win. Not that bar a few un-geelong like errors we would have coughed up a 50 point lead.

Why does it take a ridiculous amount of heat on our coach for them to suddenly turn up these huge performances.

The media and supporter base appears to be the only thing lighting a fire under these players these days.

We played better but I think you might overrate Geelong. You made it sound like Everest. They won’t even make the top 4.

First half brilliant, how we should always play.

Second half played the usual dumb s**t under pressure mistakes.

Classic game of 2 halves.

Classic case of the team playing well when they’re the underdogs, but then going into their shells anytime there’s pressure.

We almost lost after leading by 49 points because the moment pressure is applied we’re coached to panic - it’s all too scary.

At least this shows we have the cattle!

Dixon didn’t kick a goal or take 1 contested mark and it was actually a good game and one of his better games of the year. Gee he’s absolutely cooked though, struggled to pick the ball off the ground I don’t know how he ties his shoes.

There was one trip again JHF that was not paid. It was 20m out and the umpire was influenced by the supporters.

It looked to me they were paying frees according to the crowd pleas in second half. Helped Geelong get a little closer.
