Review What do you mean we f**king won at Geelong?

Bar the Rioli inspired collapse in time on quarter 3, I think the failure of our game is overstated in the second half. Take out those three goals and we win by four goals. Give em one goal and we still win by three. Geelong didn't look themselves and we were one second away from Rioli putting another goal in.

I didn't feel we were seriously threatened.

Your taking to much common sence, more of the how Ken has broken your heart will attract more likes from the mortally wounded.

actually didn’t mind Sinn’s game. But not sure if you can carry all of Burgoyne, Sinn and Boak as your wings.

Bergman at half back was much better than Bergman on the wing. Farrell finally did something this year as well. If Sinn plays next week and Jones is still injury, not sure how Jones gets back into the team.

Mead playing 4 quarters and getting into the centre was great. Underrated.

Also, it is a toss of a coin who is the second ruck between Visentini and Sweet. In saying that, Geelong aren’t exactly known for their rucks.

The bloody mad panic to lock game day threads so close to end of the game means I will transfer this.

Leave the bloody campaigner of a thread open for more than 2 minutes after the siren blows. An hour will do!

It was Hawks 2015 all over again but the other one. I text Chewy316 and I said best first quarter since 2014 EF vs Richmond in the Bars.

He replied the AO game v Hawks in 2015. That game was 8.2 v 1.2 at end of 1st quarter. Game ended 15.9 v 13.13
Completely agree with the closure of the game day thread so quickly. Wish they wouldn’t do that.

Just watching them talk on fox footy about Cameron not coming off and John ralph is all "it's a tough call for the club" lol. Funny how that's the attitude when it's a big player at a vic club.

But the panel were pretty admant that he should have come off.

Three times the doctor spoke with Cameron and 3 times Cameron seems to have ignored him or maybe said I'm OK.

In the end they all agreed, including Ralph, that Cameron had to get off the ground given how hard his head hit the turf.

The fact that he didn't should result in a big fine for Geelong- regardless of the fact Cameron wanted to stay on - the cats can make him pay the feckin fine if they want and maybe players will listen to what the doc tells them.

Yeah, Dixon was actually hitting up at the footy, no real marks etc, but played with a presence and momentum rather than stand flat footed under the footy. Got a lot of ground balls and handpasses out to running players.

That has everything to do with our gameplan and quick movement

First half brilliant, how we should always play.

Second half played the usual dumb s**t under pressure mistakes.

Classic game of 2 halves.
THe take out is though, starting strong wins out in the end, would rather that than playing catch up when 6 goals down and then losing by a point.

I have more confidence in Sinn than Jones. Sinn had a number of airy kicks tonight, at least one of which resulted in a goal in the third quarter. But he did give us drive.

Farrell and Burton were also improvers from recent weeks.

The pressure was turned up on us in the second half and we played accordingly.
I thought the umpires were best on ground in the second half. Seriouly some of the BS free kicks Geelong got.
There was one trip again JHF that was not paid. It was 20m out and the umpire was influenced by the supporters.

The Good Friday game?

I was driving going for the holidays in Porto Alegre. We had slept in my aunt’s house, which is midway between Uruguayana and Porto Alegre.

We left really early in the morning. I listened to the whole game on the phone during the trip. (What a time to be alive, isn’t it?)

I was expecting a big loss. We ran WC over. It felt like today, indeed.
