It's amazing how much better the NBL jerseys were when they were stitched on. Despite being sponsor-centric with a minor or no(?!) team logo - they actually looked significantly more identifiable that today's printed on garbage, just looks cheap.

I believe he has a few now as the club gave him some and a couple of his Olympic jerseys are at places he regularly visits, including the one I met him at

James Hawksley wore #12 for Brisbane in 2007. He played one preseason match.

Thanks for the info I don't think AFLTables.com has pre-season games included in their stats. I thought the jumper may have originally been made for Jason Ackermanis as he wore #12 in 2006, but the other guys here have pointed out it's a prototype. I'd love to have the jumper in my collection, but it's still for sale at a lot more than I'd pay for it!

I've finally taken pictures of two of my new additions, unfortunatey not whales like others have posted, but I'm still pretty happy with these:

2009 Brisbane Lions Away Jumper - #4 Travis Johnstone (PI/Signed)
I love the Fitzroy Lion much more than the "Paddle Pop" lion and I think this version is better than the current BLK design - the colours seems richer and the yoke extends further down. Stupidly the box the Vodafone logo is in is a different red to the rest of the lower half of the jumper.

Annoyingly, this jumper was originally sold without a COA from the Lions auctions. I'm not sure why they do that (have some with a COA and some without).



2015 PM Capital Giants Academy Jumper - #1 (PI)
The Giants website and Facebook pages don't have a list of which players wear which number so I've got no idea who #1 is. I'll have to try asking the club for more info. I've got a few Giants jumpers so I was happy I picked this up for 1/2 the price that the #29 from the same eBay seller sold for!

Strange that the 09 Lions jumper doesn't have a the lions watermark througout the material? I thought Puma did it for all teams they supplied, or is it just really faint??

Hey Mike, my 09 Lions jumper doesn't have any watermarks in the material. I've got a couple of Hawks PI's that I think were made my Puma that are around the same age, I'll have to check those too.

That's weird, although I only assumed they'd have them, as the Eagles ones did/do. Wonder why some clubs would have them, and others not??

I guess it's like BLK these days though, not all BLK teams have the watermarks. Might only be the Lions that do have them?

I've got a Lions retail made by KooGa that has the watermarks on it, it's the 10th Anniversary of the 3 Premierships one. I don't have a retail home or away jumper from the same year (2013) so I don't know if it's different to them.

2011 & 2012 Eagles player issues had watermarks, pretty sure we've had watermarks or similar type thing, since 1999. Started with the AFL logo and changed to our logo in 2003. So it's either we asked for it, or the others clubs asked to not have it.

The watermarks on the 2015 Eagles ones are quite prominent compared to previous years.

Yeah my 2010 (puma), 2013 (kooga) and 2014 (blk) lions pi's all have watermarks. I'd say it is the clubs choice...does the wce clash ones have them? I can't remember which club it was but I noticed their home jumpers had watermarks but their clash didn't, may have been Adelaide?

Our 2013 clash did, not sure about the last few years, I didn't get s clash cause it sucks!!!

Our 2014 white indigenous had no watermarks, so who knows what the deal is.

They had to heat press over the virgin Australia logo as they changed sponsor before the start of the season, this was worn in pre season training
