How odd is that - Aaron Hall's has it stitched in. Good get mate - did you get it from the club as well?
Yeah got it from a good source at the club...can't really tell if Aaron's is stitched in or not, he may be wearing his bra underneath, Gazza is the only one I've seen in the preseason training wearing his over the top

I'm pretty sure Hall's is stitched in - positioning is different to the bra gaz is wearing (sits lower) - I'm sure they're adjustable, but it appears to be the same position as the game day jumpers. I have also seen other blue and yellow training jumper for sale on ebay and they've all had GPS pockets stitched in.

A couple of PI cricket items picked up recently:

I mentioned earlier that I have two Hawthorn Puma PI's that don't have the Puma watermarks on them, regardless I'm still happy to have them in my collection.

2011 Hawthorn Clash Jumper - #34 Brent Renouf (MW/Signed/COA)
Warn in round #7 2011, this was the first "dirty" jumper I managed to get hold of. There's noticeable stains on the front.

I think both designs are better than the current "Power Rangers" style clash.

Inspired by seeing all the Suns jumpers that eza316 had bought, I've also bought a couple of Suns jumpers to add to my collection:

2011 GC Suns Home Jumper - #46 Tom Lynch (PI)
The seller I bought this from didn't know it this jumper had been mach worn or worn at training, but there are sides of wear and tear on the side panels. It also has the heat-pressed "Virgin Australia" logo on the back.

2011 GC Suns Home Jumper - #27 Michael Coad (PI)
This jumper has the original "Virgin Blue" logo on the back.

Does anyone know when sublimated numbers started to become the norm? Would heat pressed numbers have been used in late 90s early 2000's? Thanks

West coast have had sublimated numbers since 1996, when we started with polyester guernseys. Other clubs are different. I know Saints and the Dogs were still stitching numbers onto polyester guernseys in the mid 2000's:confused: why, I don't know. Some of the 90's Nike guernseys looked like the numbers weren't sublimated, but I'm not actually sure whether they were or weren't.

Crows were sublimating as early as 1996 (and definitely in 1997). Not sure about 1991 - 1995.

2008 Port Adelaide "Planet Teal" Jumper - #3 Steven Salopek (PI)
I really love the concept behind the Planet Teal jumpers, so I was pretty glad when I found one on eBay. This is another jumper that doesn't have the locker tag, not sure why some do and others don't.

Do you know if there are any more of these around? They look sweet I'd like one of them. I have the DVD of the game where they wear it.

2007 was the first year that all teams wore sublimated numbers (The Bulldogs dragged the chain and didn't get rid of stitched numbers until the end of '06). I'd say they became commonplace at the turn of the century. Heat-pressed numbers were never really used.
