It was a long time ago. It is 27 years since he played at the Cats.
His career at Geelong ended in 1984.

Lol, I just realised the name Nigel Kol sounded familiar.
Before my time of following the footy but he works for the same company I do. His now a sales consultant selling houses in Warrnambool/Ballarat.

I grew up next to KP as a young lad and remember when Peak landed in the helicopter. I was there with a mate (I must have been six or seven) and wanted to see him because I'd heard he was aboriginal. I'd never seen an aboriginal before and when he landed my friend said, "how come he's in a helicopter?" I did the know-it-all shrug and said, "that's how they travel". It still makes me laugh.
