$15 for couples combo (medium popcorn, 2x large drinks) which keeps the 3 kids happy. And I think you can add extra items to combos at an almost normal(ish) priceYup as well as $21.50 Gold class tickets + cheaper popcorn and coke. (IIRC its something like $5-$7 for a small combo).
Jumanji. Enjoyed it, fun movie with some really funny moments.
And Karen Gillan, not sure what to say, really, but man.
Three Billboards...: expectedly excellent. Would watch McDonaugh movies all day. Their drama rings so true in midst of all their dark comedy. Harrellson and McDormand put in ripper performances.
Thor: Ragnarok
Typical MCU fare saved by the Kiwi bro humour. That was unexpected and hilarious
Thinking back, the Dr Strange cameo was one of the most pointless cameos I can remember
Can anyone offer a good reason as to why they really needed him?
Well I’ll be damned - Jumanji was awesome!

If you'd told me a month ago I'd like it more than TLJ I'd say you're crazy. Turns out I did like Jumanji more.
JUMANJI 8/10
A pleasant surprise - Nice update to differ from the Robin Williams one. Nice homage though with the engraving on the hut.
Jack Black steals this movie and it's PMSL funny. I wanna marry Karen Gillan!!!!!

Im trying to finish Valerian and the city of a thousand planets.
I cant sit through more than 30 mins at a time its just awful.
Its strange to think at 1 stage I thought Dane Dehaan had a decent future as an actor.
I really dont know wtf Luc Besson was thinking here.
O/10
Have a read of this reviewer melt over the sequel and blaming people for enjoying Bright. Not sure if this has been done yet but...
Bright (2017) - Netflix only
Panned by critics but liked by the general public, and I definitely agree with the latter. Sure, it's not going to win awards any time soon but those calling it the worst of 2017 (coughemojimoviecough) need their heads checked - or were paid off by Rupert Murdoch, surely. Essentially Bad Boys 4 with monsters and magic and Will Smith definitely has stepped it up since his recent debacles.
Excellent world building at the start, had me hooked with the concept, delivered on it even if it resorts to the same buddy cop movie cliches. Joel Edgerton as Will Smith's orc partner provides an excellent contrast and despite the heavy-handedness at times the action scenes definitely put it among the better movies of 2017.
If you have Netflix, don't miss out.
