No.

Winners do whatever the hell they please. They won. That’s their prize.

If Kenny wants to rip his kit off and rub his nipples in Vaseline whilst drooling in Ginni’s direction, well, that’s his prerogative to do so.

And if your team don’t like that, that’s your team’s fault for losing. Easy fix. Don’t lose

I don't care who you support, this is a pathetic attitude.

If you have kids please don't pass this attitude in to them.

Play hard and be ruthless until the game is over, then you smile, be gracious and shake your opponents hand.

This is Australua, not America.

But Sam's poor loser displayed in the final v Port is just passion?
C’mon pretty sure every other coach including Chris would have done the same as Sam and protected/stood up for their captain/players in that situation. Some may see it as poor loser fine ……. but there was clearly a bigger dickhead on the night. Sam never apologised to anyone stood by his conviction unlike Mr aeroplane man!

Really? He's win 2 flags in a dozen years. He's is a poor loser, a cranky interviewee and adores the smell of his own farts.

I dint have to respect him at all.

He’s won 2 flags in a dozen years AFTER his side was supposed to have gone through the inevitable drop off where they disappear from the top end of the ladder. He’s won his two flags during that time and spent the entire period at the top end. So there’s that.

Most of the time when we lose, he gives analytical answers and never once have I seen him just sit there and give monosyllabic bullshit answers. He might say things you don’t like or don’t agree with, and periodically he will give answers that put the onus on ‘how bad Geelong were’ rather than crediting the other team, so I can see that rubbing people up the wrong way, but he doesn’t carry on and walk out or lose his shit.

He’s not a conspiracy theorist when things don’t go his team’s way: he will say it if he thinks we copped poor decisions, fair enough, but as he acknowledges, it happens and we benefit from it too.

When he’s talked about the draw he’s mentioned that it’s never equal in that we never get our full compliment of home games but I am pretty sure he’s also mentioned that it is compromised in general in that not everyone plays everyone home and away anyway and that some years we will get an easier draw and other years we will get a harder one.

Even the stupid ‘mission accomplished’ statement that people have been hanging onto for a decade has been embellished to the point of embarrassment: he literally said words to the effect of ‘there were a few things we wanted to find out about our side from this game and some things we wanted to try out and we thought they worked for periods of the game so from that perspective it was kind of mission accomplished but obviously we wanted to do better after half time.’ He didn’t write the headline that said ‘Mission Accomplished’ that all the news outlets ran with.

You don’t have to like him, but blanket statements like ‘he loves himself and thinks he’s the smartest person in the room’ just sounds like you can’t accept that he talks in a considered manner and stops to think about what he says when he says it and doesn’t just give the usual cliched answers that everyone expects to hear during every presser or interview

Actually don’t mind Kenny. In 20 years of playing/coaching still premiershipless and he does currently hold a VFL/AFL record for the most number of games as a coach …… that hasn’t made a GF

=2nd most games coached, with the worst record, at a whopping 35.38% win rate. Most of those over North & West Coast btw.

Only reason he doesn't get votes here, is because he's helped the Crows become totally irrelevant.

Thanks Nicksy

Also took over the worst position that the crows have been in their history.
Cant just look at win % and assume anything.
If we don't do anything soon though you can probably get away with your assessment.

LOL, the standards I apply to my own behaviour (pretty much this ⬆️) has absolutely nothing to do with my expectations of others.

That’d be a sure path to misery and disappointment.

Craig McRae is a Flog and very Privileged I can't believe he's Complained about Travel.
Did you watch the clip? No complaints about travelling, Pies usually travel quite well.

He has always been an advocate for Opening Round and is all for promoting the game as a non Victorian man. He’s simply asking for more games, equaling more teams getting involved.

It is a fair question to ask being the coach of the only non Syd/QLD club to take part two years in a row.

Pies will travel anywhere so let’s stop pretending that is an issue.

Chris Scott being above Brad just shows how much tall poppy syndrome exists. That and/or people don’t know which is which.
No one denies Chris Scott's ability, for mine he's Geelong best ever coach. He's also a tremendously irritating campaigner.

I dislike Lyon more (I like to think for fairly concrete reasons) but Chris Scott is a very understandable choice.

People can dislike whoever they like, but it’s easier to compare twins.
It’s Brad that does most of the whinging which is the main reason for the dislike I would’ve thought?
Chris rightly or wrongly copped a reputation early making excuses. I just don’t think he’s said anything wrong that’s noteworthy in a long long time.
Other coaches like Clarkson will punch holes in walls, abuse umps at kids level and in general has a massive anger issue.
Yet still Chris is #1 🤷

I think 2015 Clarkson was the most hated and since than Chris has hardly put a foot wrong but taken over the most hated title.
Why? Consistently being good and Clarkson coaches North.

Mate ask him, he's the one giving people the irrits

Hinkley is starting to sound like Kamala Harris

The word salad he uses at press conferences is cringeworthy at times.
Of all the American politicians who speak utter shit and you pick her…. Weird.

I'm thinking, if I met the coaches socially, how would they come across. All complete speculation, of course.

Lyon - arrogant smart arse.
McCae - super smarmy.
Longmuir - passive, timid.
Clarkson - absolute wuckfit.
Voss - I've met him, he was super enthusiastic and upbeat.
Bevo - testy, sensitive, easily offended.

All the rest seem fairly tolerable, okay and interesting in my opinion.
