If they haven't debuted, how can you say if they're good or not? They haven't gone up against any other afl talent
Because I've watched them play? That's what watching junior football and talent ID is all about.

For example I think they are better prospects than Schoenberg, Berry and Sholl.
My point was more around we are going well in 2023 with exposed youth form but still have some pretty good talent yet to come in.

Dont think North can be taken seriously until they start putting real AFL sides on the park.

Every week they are playing 8-10 players that likely won’t be on an AFL list in the 12-24 months.

It doesn’t really matter how good their best 3-4 players are when their overall list is of such poor quality.

Dowling, Taylor and Nankervis are all three that haven't debuted yet but all highly talented prospects.

What roles are they playing at SANFL? I remember Dowling looked like a big bodied mid.

Yes. Need to improve our older players.

* this thread's boring.

There should be a thread rule that you can only talk about how good other the teams' young players are.

That and how important good older players are to younger player's performances.

Lot different when your youth are manning up and being manned up by the best the opposition has to offer each week.

North have some great top end draft talent - Phillipps, Sheezel, Wardlaw, Pick 2. However badly lacking solid role players and B graders you need to contend and that will take time.

Adelaide will have the best forward line in the comp for the next 10 years. Oodles of X-factor and scoring power. But midfield is a big work in progress.

I think the margins tell the story.

Adelaide beat the Hawks by 3 points. Not having Day/Mitch Lewis is cancelled out by Tassie (Crows aren't the best travelling to Tassie). Close game. Hawks could have won if we took our chances and Sicily stayed as the plus one in defence rather than going forward. Crows didn't play to their best either (I'd like to think our pressure played a part in it but they certainly looked 5% off). I think if we play that game 10 times in a row I'd still say the Crows win 7 times to the 3 to the Hawks.

Hawks the younger of the two teams but only 10-15 game average separating them.

Crows beat North by 10 goals at home.

North the older of the two teams by roughly 10-15 games.

It's pretty clear as day now that it's the Crows > Hawks >>> North.

Even more damning when it's Hawks > Crows > North in terms of how experienced of a side each respective team is putting out week in and week out. North are going with almost 30+ games worth of experience over the Hawks on any given week.

Liked the look of North's top end talent. Sheezel and Wardlaw are going to be hard top for any of the three sides but there's a whole load of trash between their best players and their worst.

There is really NOTHING you can say that will hurt my feelings. Post about my rankings where I took a year off work and made 65k in one year despite starting with $10 in my account. How many times have you done that?

Show me ONE GOOD post you've posted in this thread.

You misrepresenting yourself and others. Said that Amon had neverattended a CBA yet he Did!

At the point you just leave the thread but instead you keep doubling down. Baffling. 😮
Um I remember when we actually tried to put accountability behind your rankings we did all our theoretical dough (iirc you left the thread when we were down to 5000 of the starting bank of 20000 then we put the rest on Gold Coast as per rankings and won but because you’d left we didn’t know what to bet on the next week)

We were the better side against you & GWS but without Mitch Lewis & Will Day, two of our most important and best performing players for the year, we lost. We lost within the last 2 minutes. These can be coulda/woulda/shoulda. But it's more likely than not.

We are than 3-2 in our last 5. Sicily's impact is clear.

8 wins puts us currently in 5th - 7th.

Kinda funny.
Um we would only be 6 wins with the gws and crows games going our way I can’t think of another close loss that was a could’ve/ should’ve

On a day where the Crows had 35 more disposals, they had 29 more tackles.

Tells you all you need to know.

Did the Crows change their S&C team this season?

Just have been looking in tip top shape. Powerful runners across the ground and lots of strong bodies.

Crows rebuilt sensibly, smartly using picks across the board to build across the whole ground.

We collected midfielders upon midfielders upon midfielders (despite our three best young players in 2020 being midfielders) and it's starting to bite us now as we look a shambles everywhere else.

Hawks built more broadly as well.
