Bit harsh on Reeves and Meek. Both are still babies as sub 50 game ruckmen. Both have shown plenty of quality.

They've certainly shown the most as ruckmen out of any of the three sides here.

Funny that on the Hawk board I’m deemed to be a “Kozi hater” because I wanted him gone last year.

Reeves and Meek are tracking to be a very good ruck pair, they’re still baby giraffes at this stage. Weird flex, potting barely 30 game ruckman.

Jiath and Scrimshaw have both had injury interrupted years, and you’re celebrating it like some lowlife.

Dawson and Keays being viewed as older players probably shows how further advanced the Crows are. They’re both 26, for us, they’re in the right age bracket to be core players of our next premiership push.

I get they don’t fit the “youth” category, but it’s not like we’re being carried by old players hanging on by a thread.

You are a bottom 3 team. You need to focus on youth to give your supporters something to cling to because there is nothing else.
Day is probably the only player under 22 that could get a game at the Pies.

We have players in our VFL team that will be walk-up starts in your seniors.

I think Hawthorn and Adelaide are pretty comparable, we just started our rebuild two years earlier. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Hawks pushing into the 8 in 2025.

North however as a club are ****ed, they have talent, but they aren’t going anywhere until they get their footy department and culture sorted.

It’s a little sad with how North is being ran.

I genuinely don’t mean that as a knock. You committed to rebuilding with Mitchell last year, most successful rebuilds (Melbourne, Richmond, yours pre 2008-2015) tend to take 6-8 years.

North's issues aren't with the young talent. Our two best on today were 18 and 19 years old.

North's issue is barely having an AFL quality player over the age of 25. North don't have a player 26+ who would get a regular game on a competitive side.

Adelaide have Keays, Sloane, Dawson, Walker, Laird, Smith, Doedee, O'brien.

North line up an older list but thats weighed down by the low quality players who are 26+.

.. and unfortunately the older players, many C graders from other Clubs, take a large share of the salaries.

North has less than a handful of high quality younger players. The challenge will be keeping the little high end talent they have over the next few years.
