Who do you think will be our leading goal kicker in 2010

We have alot of players that can kick goals, and now that Lucas and Lloyd have retired it makes room for the young kids to step up in our forward line to kick a couple
So who will it be ?

Neagle ? Williams ? Monfries ? Gumbleton ? (when he strings some games together) or will Hurley be a regular forward and lead our goal kicking in 2010 ?

Or will Courtney Johns come back and lead us to a premiership

What are your thoughts
Well Courtney Johns looks like he may play at Strathmore which is near Essendon:D

Watson himself said that Hille is better around the ground then Ryder......Though i agree use Hille more as a forward and Ryder in the ruck.

I thought he said that Hille was better at boundary throw-ins, as far as feeding off him goes. He said Ryder was better at centre bounces for delivery, but didn't touch on productivity around the ground, per se.

My interpretation was that he thinks Ryder is already a better ruckman than Hiller however Hille is better around the ground ie- gets more of the ball and is more damaging?

And FWIW i reckon he is spot on.

As for the OP Williams will be the leading goal kicker with 52. Neagle somewhere around 35-40.

If Hurley plays the season as a forward i woulod almost have my money on him. Could see him kicking 2-3 a game comfortably.

I reckon Neagle will get to 50 next year and lead our goal kicking if he stays injury free.

Williams will be next with about 40 if he stays injury free and then we'll have about 5 players around the 20 mark.

Hille if he stays injury free might get to 20. Gumbleton if he stays injury free could push 20.

I find it strange agreeing with Kelvin, but as a best possible outcome, I do agree with this.

I thought he said he was better around the ground than ryder? oh well both are great imo lol

Naaa Ryder has more potential than Hille, but i would rather have Hille in my team ATM than Ryder, i mean look at how ryder got dominated against sandy unlike hille.

Ryder will be a superstar in 2-3 years time though

Sandi always dominated Hille in the ruck. The only difference is that Hille gets the better of Sandi around the ground and this what Jobe was refering to when he said Hille is still better around the ground.

But i agree with you in that i would also prefer Hille in the team at this point in time if i had to choose between the two.

It will be out of Neagle and Williams. Hopefully around the 35-45 mark.

We need Davey to get on the scoreboard. In 09 he had virtually no impact on the scoreboard and it cost us.

D.Bradshaw

Would love Bradshaw but just can't see how he is going to last until one of our picks that we would possibly use on him. It will be interesting to see how Williams fits in our forward structure, at the very least it will give us a couple of smaller more mobile forwards (along with Gus) to give us a more well-rounded structure.

If hurley plays the season up forward, i reckon hurls.
williams is a threat.
out of them 2.
gumbleton - no way, i still reckon he'll be a great player but he's played 5 games, he wont come out kickin 50 goals+ in a season (if injury free)
neagle - not a threat. kicks like 1 a game.

Maybe in 2008 ;)

Has the potential to match Williams in the goalkicking IMO. Assuming Hurls is down back.
