I notice the commentary is really out of sync every time Kelli Underwood is calling the game. Before the game on channel 7 I noticed it was out of sync too.
In Sydney? Play on!!Ehhh might have been interesting if the umps paid the free to Langford for high contact with like 4 minutes to go. Think it would have brought the margin back to 11 points. Swans to good with their foot skills and our transition defence was terrible. Missing Ridley.
It would want to be!It feels like we're playing a more physical game without a defensive system embedded. I think it's coming.
Yep. I reckon we need to play like this all the time and double down next time we meet Heeney and PapleyI’m all for us being over the top with aggregation even if we give away frees. Be meak for far too long. If swans are talking about it, means we got under their skin.
There was that horrid night a few years back where people were saying one ump gave 15 or so straight frees to the Swans at the SCG (not sure how true that was). But Tippa was getting all but undressed in contests when we went forward and got nothing - he even complained to the ump in a manner not normal for him. The Swans go down their end someone slapped Papley on the forearm, free kick Sydney, goal.In Sydney? Play on!!
At the other end, Hind and Papley were locked together at the stoppage and the result is a free to Papley. So predictable!
Welcome to playing Sydney in Sydney wearing the sash!!There was that horrid night a few years back where people were saying one ump gave 15 or so straight frees to the Swans at the SCG (not sure how true that was). Red time lapses and struggling to cover transition are most likely symptoms of the same fitness issue.
Everyone is running on fumes at the end, alwaysCome on now the Swans were basically running on fumes at the end there too. They just had a bit more gas in the tank and broke away.
This team overran the hawks so they are somewhere in the middle of the pack.
Team culture was so bad wouldn’t have done much. Merrett got kicked out of the leadership group for having suggested it. Stringers got the edge but not the tank
Except the whiny bit.I think Sydney showed us everything we need to be working on as a club, on and off the field.
These w***ers targeted an 18yo kid last year and Papley gave him an elbow …absolute hypocrites..
What a bunch of sooks. It's been about 20 years since the opposition complained about a tough Essendon. They criticise Essendon for being soft and now all of a sudden it's too much?
They can't handle what they dish out. I hope they sleep with one eye open in round 23 because 23 players will come at them.Didn't the whole Swans team belt Gawn off the ball 2 weeks ago?
By then our season might be over and they'll just belt us.They can't handle what they dish out. I hope they sleep with one eye open in round 23 because 23 players will come at them.
By then our season might be over and they'll just belt us.
Or we might already be in IbizaBy then our season might be over and they'll just belt us.
Ah yes Ibiza, that little town in regional ArizonaOr we might already be in Ibiza
On the scoreboard yes but they'll hopefully wake up sore the next day.By then our season might be over and they'll just belt us.
People tend to get a bit hysterical when Essendon are involved since we're the most hated club in the league.I just think all the criticism’s been a bit harsh - I don’t think he was looking to hurt him.
