The great? A top three would certainly have Leigh Matthews, Ted Whitten and prehaps Gary Ablett/Wayne Carey.
Ted Whitten - captain of the Team of the Century, did great things for the game after his playing days.
Leigh Matthews - generally regarded as the best player of all time, also a very successful coach.
Wayne Carey - also regarded as one of the finest players and captains in history.
Gary Ablett - possibly the most talented man to ever pull on a football boot.
Ron Barassi - a champion, a champion coach and a great innovator and figure of Aussie Rules.
Chris Tarrant - well...he has big arms and plays for Collingwood. Legend.

He is in the last straight now - has taken a football team from 16th to undisputed favourites for the Flag and now will finish with ultimate glory - probably back to back ultimate glory 2006/2007!!
A club that was financally and on the field in terrible condition needed someone anything - they needed a leader and with doubters everywhere he took the job on and has succeeded so far.

And now is a revolutionary with Leadership groups etc. that have been adopted by rival coaches - sydney, geelong etc.
