Ted Richards, with McPhee or Solomon on one half back flank helping out.

i like the idea of soloman down back. his was in great form in the middle and didnt do to bad when needed down back.

dont think richards is quite strong enough for chb.

The team could be something like:

MJ, Fletcher, Welsh
Solly, Richards, Rama/McPhee
Rama/McPhee, McVeigh, Rioli
Murphy, Lucas, Hird
Cupido, Lloyd, Watson
Hille, Peverill, JJ
Allan/Laycock, and 3 of: Stanton, Dyson, Thomas, Zantuck, Bullen, Alvey, Bradley, Reynolds, Winderlich

I think if Sheedy plans to have Richards at CHB in 2005, he will be strong and fit enough to play there by Round 1. The worry is his smarts at CHB in my opinion. If he can keep his opponent to <6 marks a game and <3 goals I think that's a big win for us because we allow Solly to move around the ground more freely.

Mj, Fletcher, Welsh
Mcphee, Soloman, Zantuck
Ramanauskas, Mcveigh, Murphy
Hird, Lucas, Rioli
Watson, Lloyd, Cupido
Hille, Jj, Peverill

Then Any Of Richards, Bolton, Allan, Reynolds, Dyson, Stanton, Bullen, Lovett - Murry.

Dont Forget Our Draft Picks.

Alvey Is A Joke!

Horses for courses.
There was a bit of a trend this season with playing Fletcher on the best forward most weeks (ie Matera). I think this will continue.

I think it will be shared between, Fletcher, Richards, Solomon, Lucas, Bolton, Bradley, where possible and dare I say it....Henneman.

I think we might even see NLM spend a bit of time down back.

Not Bolton or Henneman- and yet I fear they will be given the job.

Hopefully JOhns will play so Lucas can play in defence.

johns probably wont play untill late next season if he does.

late last year he had to have his hip operated on again and was told couldnt run for a year. he was actually going to retire but he is giving it one more go.

Don't know if you have been keeping up with the news or not, but the latest on Johns is that he could be ready to go come late April.

well i hope your right but that was just something i heard last year.

i think it was lloyd that said it on white line fever just before the round 16 game against west coast in perth.

"The early signs are that he is progressing well and if things continue along those lines he might be playing by May next year and obviously resume running and full training a couple of months before that," Essendon assistant coach Mark Harvey said.

Bolton can stay the ******** away from the backline!!

If i had my way ... he wouldn't be on the Essendon list at all. He is a liability that offers little to the future of the EFC.

Oh ... and for CHB? Lucas.
CHF? Jason Laycock.

Bradley looks to have the goods to me, but what position do you want him to play his career at. I think he could do a similar role to Chad Cornes but must be given time to develop.

Thus if this is the case you might as well have him at CHB with Solomon to play at half backto give him support. Always have the back up plan of moving Lucas back if Bradley is getting a bath. Fletcher could also enjoy a run there which would give his body a rest from the battering he gets at full back but I think you need him at full back.
(PS you can send ricky dyson to port adelaide if you wish)
