We don’t have generic portfolios like “player development” anymore.

They’re all oddly specific and yet juxtaposed. “Backline and ball movement”
“Midfield and flow”
“Forwardline and mindfulness”
“Rucks and poetry”
“Transition and self-actualisation”
Rucks and poetry . It all makes sense now

How so? Did he just turn up to training one day without bucks knowing?
smartarse answer I know (sorry) but I find it hard to believe he didn’t ok it?

Did he have any other choice with Eddie's rhetoric around "bringing a favourite son home"?

McRae’s shortened again to $1.25, usual caveats with betting though.

I think he gets announced this week, with the only hold up being if Voss wants to come back to Melbourne as a senior assistant.

I've gotta say im super impressed at the way the club and panel has handled this whole situation. Although reading the tea leaves it seems highly likely that it will end up being McRae, we've kept our cards extremely close to our chests, and haven't let any external noise play a factor.

They've been diligent and haven't wavered from their process, and that gives me full confidence that they'll find the right person for the gig.

A far cry from the level of competence and professionalism we've seen in the past, and i hope this continues into trade period and beyond

There's a vibe that hasn't been around the place for a very long time.
Makes it easier to grin and bear the next couple of seasons.

Frankly can't believe the angst over Voss - heaven forbid a 3 time Premiership Captain, Brownlow winner and former Head Coach, and now assistant at a resurgent top club, coming off a recent rebuild, has anything to offer.
And a Con Artist to boot, who will have duped our naive selection panel, into believing he's the right man for the job.

Come on guys - get a grip.
If the process decides it's Voss, then we should all be satisfied enough DD has been done, to ensure he's the right man for the job.

I wonder if the anti Voss sentiment is due to how he played against Collingwood,
Laying out Alan Richardson at the Gabba and the Scott Burns incident in a Grand Final?
