The long-tenured assistants are all very likely to go (Sanderson and Harvey). The ones we hired recently (Selwood and Skipworth) are likely to stick around

Happy with Selwood and Skipworth staying, with McRae and Leppitsch coming onboard, it makes a good, fresh coaching panel....

Add in Tapping to round it out

Interesting that he was never in the frame for the Adelaide or North Melbourne positions. The panel have either unearthed a gem or outsmarted themselves.

Anyone trawled through his twitter post history and realised he "isn't a Collingwood supporter" or anything yet?

If memory serves I have seen him in a lions jumper a few years back

Very happy with Craig McRae.

He's coached his own team to success.

That is, he's had to stand in front of a team and sell a message of hope and belief to win a game and to win a final and to win a grand final.

He's also had to look a player in the eye and tell them why they are not playing on the weekend.

He's also had to tell a player that they won't be part of their squad next season.

As opposed to taking 7 years on the job to learn all of this, Fly has exposed form on all of this (through references would've been sounded out + the results of his coaching) and has come through the process.

Common-sense and calm, dispassionate dissection has no place in ruling out Voss.

Clearly and simply - he is a smug, arrogant simpleton with thuggish sensibilities. I hate him. End of review.

McCrae pls.

Amen!
