I think you should worry about your own team's premiership drought, which is fast approaching 30 years and showing no signs of stopping, rather than referring to Collingwood and their apparent lack of premiership success, whose drought is not even yet 12 months...And 3 flags in 7 decades
You still struggling with how long a decade is?And 3 flags in 7 decades
They've been schooled on so many things so far in this thread, do you honestly believe they are aware of how long a decade is?You still struggling with how long a decade is?

Historic.
It's only been 2 days since I last schooled him on decade length... forgotten alreadyThey've been schooled on so many things so far in this thread, do you honestly believe they are aware of how long a decade is?
For the record, a decade is 10 years.
7 decades would take us back to 1954...
Don't know why Fadge would agree. He tipped us to finish 16th. So actually exceeded his expectationsYou must be SOOO proud now where's that trophy... oh here it is

Another embarrassing year from the Blueshakes
That's a lie and you know it he tipped 13th so not that far offDon't know why Fadge would agree. He tipped us to finish 16th. So actually exceeded his expectations
It must be hard to realise that the only way Carlton can beat Collingwood recently is when Collingwood are that far in front that they didnt need to win!
We have had Carlton's measure again in 2024.
Fact, only a nuffie would try to argue against that.
There is the nuffie.
2023 has nothing to do with the actual difficulty of a teams 2024 fixture.
The 2024 fixture difficulty is only about who you actually played in 2024, and how good they were in 2024.
It should be obvious, but clearly some Baggers struggle with basic logic.
Facts again.
I love how in your "burn", you show Pies fans as sensible and Carlton fans as blathering nuffies who make no sense.
So ladder position is important again, unlike 2023 when Carlton fans moved the goal posts.
2024, Pies are clearly better as a result of their two HTH wins and that Carlton's ladder position is the result of a soft fixture.
Everyone knows it.
We all agree that the blathering Carlton supporters trying to use 2023 ladder position to defend their 2024 fixture are idiots, as your post beautifully illustrated.
Doing great work.
Carlton have gone from a prelim last year to battling it out for 8th spot this year. That's a big fail.Loving the deflections, dummy spits, excuses on why the Pies have fallen off the cliff this season and become an irrelevant football club.
Such a comedy show on here and great for a laugh, keep it coming guys !
At least the Pies had a cliff to fall from.Carlton have gone from a prelim last year to battling it out for 8th spot this year. That's a big fail.
I'd suggest it's a bit rich for Carlton fans to be crowing about the "Pies falling off a cliff" this year.
Most likely both teams finish on the same points. This despite Carlton's significantly easier fixture. Add the two head to head wins and it's advantage Pies in 2024.

I love the banter thread. The yarns that get spun. The buckets of excuses and cope from a disappointed Pies membership base clinging to their own fantasy victory conditions.
Your mum believes you and that is all that matters.

Given the expectations around Carlton it's been a huge fail from them this year. They've gone backwards significantly when most punters had them top 4 and genuine contenders. At least the Pies had a cliff to fall from.
In fact, we fell from Mt. Everest - the highest point possible.
Carlton have fallen from a molehill in the car park of Visy Park.
Oh well, they can always look forward to 'next year'...Given the expectations around Carlton it's been a huge fail from them this year. They've gone backwards significantly when most punters had them top 4 and genuine contenders.
Yet Carlton posters on here seem really happy with things. It just shows how Carlton fans have been so thoroughly conditioned to accepting and even celebrate failure and mediocrity.

Why would we need that when we've got modern footage of our greatness? I'm still catching up on last yearDo Collingwood even have a home video of winning Grand Finals before 1990?
It's actually good to have a year off and simply enjoy finals as a neutral every now and again.Yes, it is indeed an embarrassing season for Collingwood when we find ourselves anywhere near a similar ladder position to Carlton.
We hang our heads in shame every day.
My heart needs a rest, it's stressful barracking for a powerhouseIt's actually good to have a year off and simply enjoy finals as a neutral every now and again.
It's great to support ambitious clubs that are consistently competitive, but there is that annual September stress.
Enjoy the gap year!
"Reigning" is a present participleYou should go full Collingwood “it’s in the past.”
