Carlton have only finished in the top 50% of the ladder 8 times in 24 attempts this centuryWell above that imo
Sub mid-tableCarlton have only finished in the top 50% of the ladder 8 times in 24 attempts this century
Ninth is mid table mate, who finished 9th this season?Sub mid-table
Desperate reach.Ninth is mid table mate, who finished 9th this season?
It's the truth and fact no matter what you rave on about.Desperate reach.
As the ultimate authority on mid and lower table teams, what ladder position/s qualify as high, mid and lower table teams? It's the truth and fact no matter what you rave on about.
How have you gone over the last 24 years?I've got both years right so far, Pies then blues.
I'm going back to the Pies for 2025, you're welcome Pies fans!
Dumbest question I've seen on here, there's 18 teams in the comp, Pies finished right in the middle. As the ultimate authority on mid and lower table teams, what ladder position/s qualify as high, mid and lower table teams?
Really?Dumbest question I've seen on here, there's 18 teams in the comp, Pies finished right in the middle.
Pies and Freo are mid table, below them are lower above them all played finals so are high.Really?
Because there were 8 teams above us, and 9 teams below us.
So back to my original question - upper, mid and lower table ladder positions?
Go.
Good to see that a 'high' ladder position for Carlton supporters is 8th and above...Pies and Freo are mid table, below them are lower above them all played finals so are high.
Higher than the Pies mate.Good to see that a 'high' ladder position for Carlton supporters is 8th and above...
I guess it's all relative.
North were higher than Richmond too.Higher than the Pies mate.
Yeah you'd expect their average ladder position for the 21st C would be well below 9th.Well above that imo
You're having trouble sticking to 2024-25 aren't you? I have a fair idea why.Yeah you'd expect their average ladder position for the 21st C would be well below 9th.
Someone should work it out.
The median would be even more interesting....Yeah you'd expect their average ladder position for the 21st C would be well below 9th.
Someone should work it out.
Sounds like a job for our numbers man.The median would be even more interesting....
2024-25You're having trouble sticking to 2024-25 aren't you? I have a fair idea why.
Oh no.Sounds like a job for our numbers man.
Wow.Oh no.
Carlton's median ladder finish since 2001 is....
13th!!!!!!!
And given there have only been 16 teams in the competition for nearly half that time, that is quite an effort!
8th position is where we finished in 2024.North were higher than Richmond too.
But great to see Carlton supporters are now so accepting of mediocrity.
'8th position is a high ladder finish'.
